Avoid Allstate. In a hail storm that hit all of 80238, none of my neighbors had problems with their adjusters except me. Of course, I’m the only one with Allstate.

My original review discussed Norma & Chris’ inappropriate behavior. Norma is flagging reviews in an attempt to cover up her dishonesty-
In response to Norma, I am not going to allow you to shame me and put false information on the internet- again, this is a great example of your inappropriate behavior. You are lying about your software- I have an email from you saying you did, in fact, make a mistake however at that point I was no longer willing to work with you. You are lying about the infractions on my driving record and you are lying about my coverage in Nebraska incorrectly quoting me. You did mention one infraction, which upon talking with a competent agent, it was clear my policy had aged out of that infraction. You are continuing to fabricate lies to protect your ego and being proud of yourself and Chris is incredibly embarrassing and shameful, and further proves to me that you do not have business working in a customer facing role. Having owned this agency for awhile, I am positive I am not the only individual with this experience, and I believe it would be unlikely for anyone to speak up due to your false information and ability to gaslight and manipulate others into believing it is real. The information you spew is scary, having to pay $750 a month for coverage with “no other options,” and you are in a position where people naturally trust and believe you. You are taking advantage of peoples trust and lying and manipulating people. To claim that a simple system prevents you from doing that is quite silly. You also are not and have never been my agent, and you are sharing false information about my coverage and the state that it is in. You are also incredibly ignorant in the feeling that you have power to determine whether or not my insurance is accepted by by Colorados DMV’s. The state of Colorado has the autonomy in deciding what insurance is sufficient with new residents, and you have no access to that information. You are putting up a front that you have more control, power, and knowledge than you do and you are misleading individuals in an attempt to drive them into your business and to profit off of them. Lastly, after my complaint with HR was filed and acted upon, you still continued to contact me under the false pretense, again, that I had “requested a quote.” You are lying, you are ignorant, you lack emotional control, you lack the ability to take no for an answer, you lack boundary respect, you lack professionalism, you lack communication skills- both verbal and written, you lack impulse control, and you are very clearly not bound to any kind of ethics having now shared my information on the internet. You seem to forget that not once did I request for you to contact me. You were fishing for customers and you became upset when I did not respond to your emails requesting my business. Then, when I finally did respond because you manipulated my perception of what was right, you continued to lie. Then, when I returned to refusing to want to work with your business, you began and have continued now for months to behave inappropriately. You have now been told more than two times by your HR department to stop contacting me and I suspect that me sharing your review with them will not go over well. HR has the luxury of receiving & reading several files documenting yours (and Chris’) communications, unlike the readers of these reviews. Please gather yourself and know that I will not allow your manipulation and gaslighting to take over.

This family agency is incredibly fraudulent and has cost me a lot of money. I wouldn't be surprised if Chris and his mother have been doing this to other customers over the years as well. Chris is highly manipulative and a liar.I first contacted Chris Contreras last month regarding an increase in my rate and looking at ways to reduce my premium as I have had a clean driving record but my rates continue to increase regardless.He and his mother have been my agents for over 5 years and he has helped me in the past over the phone. I have renewed with him often. I always pay my premium in full. We discussed a few options to lower my rate as I have a clean driving rate but my rate continues to increase. He told me in order to properly quote me my options I needed to take off the automatic payment on the account and he would get back to me with a rate in a few days after the account updated. I agreed. A few days later he called me back with the new rate. We discussed the new rate without automatic payment and I decided that I wanted to stay on the automatic payments and still pay in full as I always have. Chris agreed.I thought everything had been settled. However, the next week, I was notified by mail of a new rate and that I had been switched to monthly payments. I immediately called Chris to discuss. He told me that he had no control and was unable to help with the situation. He stated that I had not caught the error and reached out soon enough, that he couldn’t be held responsible nor do anything to help me. When I asked why and how, Chris stated it was my responsibility, as the customer, to watch my bank account and make sure that the payment is correct, not his job. He can’t possibly watch and monitor every account he said. He further stated that it was my fault for trying to “save a few dollars” on the account with the exploratory changes and that other clients have troubles like this too and they catch it sooner and then he can help. I asked him if he wanted me to escalate this to BBB and he said to be his guest. He said it wasn’t his job to fix this as this was my responsibility to watch my bank account closer and he’d be happy for me to switch insurance companies.I contacted customer service at Allstate who reported that Chris stated that I had told him I couldn't afford to pay in full and that's why he had changed my policy. He refused to take responsibility nor back down from his lies nor his appeared incompetence, which now seems more fraudulent than ever.Norma-DORA and AllState didn't determine that your office handled the situation in the proper manor. They determined that since I didn't record our phone conversations, that they couldn't prove you were in the wrong definitively. Both DORA and AllState recommended to no longer use your office as my agent and that they would be monitoring your office more carefully moving forward.

The quote for the business was higher than what I already had so I kept my old one but the quote for my cars was a very good deal! Ever since they've been my go-to! I recommended them to my mother and she also switched. I now only talk to Chris and he handles all my needs, new cards, new changes, new quotes, etc! He's also amazing like his mom and each time I am in contact with him, he is so helpful and so so friendly!! I will keep recommending them because the customer service is superb!!!

Oooh, what can I say about them?? I first came to this spot to get insurance for my business, that didn't work out because it was way more than what I already had but Norma was amazing and gave me a quote for my personal cars and that price was amazing! I've been with them for a while now, I even referred my mom and she also loves them! Now my normal point of contact is Chris and he is SUPER friendly and helpful! He usually let's me do everything by email, I hate talking on the phone and him allowing that is awesome!! Of course some things you need to call in for but if I don't need too, he will just help me by email!! Thanks for everything, Norma and Chris! Highly recommend!!!

i requested an insurance review. I authorized changes to uninsured medical and medical payments since I have good health insurance. I also authorized an increase in my deductible which I specifically stated was only due to me having $500 deductible credit. I was sent a multi- page edoc. I scanned the document and assumed only the requested changes were made; in other words I made the mistake of trusting my agent I had been with for ten years. Two months later, I have a claim and learned she changed my plan and I lost the vanishing deductible. Again the only reason I said I wanted to increase my deductible was due to the deductible credit I had. I told her I never asked for that change. She said it was in the document. I reviewed it and there were 8 words on one line within a multi page insurance doc that made the change. She then offered to cover half the deductible due to the "disconnect." Something i viewed as a very small gesture of good will. She has since withdrawn that offer. Changing agents and reporting the issue to allstate and DORA. Amazing how she "remembers" parts of conversations that never happened but didn't remember parts that did.
