Have been using this location for years. Went downhill in the last two. A lot of the run around and people not communicating within the same building. This time I scheduled an appointment for a consultation and general wellness checkup. The morning of, they contacted me letting me know that they do not offer the service that is posted online. They told me to call or book for another location. I asked if they would transfer my appointment to said location which they responded they can’t and they do not have access to the other locations reservations. I went ahead and booked for the recommended location to make sure my pup could be seen today since I had taken off work to do so. Minutes later the new location contacted me letting me know THEY COULD SEE I HAD TWO RESERVATIONS WITHIN THE COMPANY and offered to help me. So only certain locations can see reservations? Only certain locations have the initiative. On a positive note at least they let me know before me and my pup showed up. Please just care a little more and acknowledge time isn’t free. Just TRY to help. What the ironton location was unwilling to do and look into. The Quincy location did unasked.

Took my dog to get groomed last month with a full bath including anal gland cleaning, my dog now has an infection anal gland vet says her glands couldn't have been. Extracted with how full it is, causing a $1,200 that I shouldn't have had to pay. Do not go here for a grooming

Extremely snotty and impatient lady with a “Karen haircut.” I asked my daughter if she wanted a specific fish. She said “They are just feeder fish, we don’t pick them” then snorted as if she was irritated I even spoke to my daughter about it. A simple explanation as to why they don’t do that would have been nice instead of her acting like we were irritating her by asking for help. She walked around the store like she didn’t have time to help anyone even though they had a whole whopping 4 customers present. Very disappointing experience after a very scary doctors visit at Children’s Hospital. We were hoping for a visit at Petco to cheer my daughter up after her hard day but instead she got to see how rude people can be. This is why we stay with Petsmart 98% of the time. We will now stay with Petsmart all the time.

This location is ok. It's not as good as other Petcos. I visit every time at 5:30pm due to another appt. I have experienced twice the staff saying out loud how they are exhausted and can't deal with anyone. I smiled once and said something that I thought was polite and the employee shouted at her manager or whatever that she needed "saving." I get it, it's a tough job and especially with how Coloradans can be so rude. But I think by maybe 4:00 the management needs to give these workers some rest. What am I supposed to do to help? I feel like I can't go in and buy something due to no matter how nice I am it's a burden to these overworked employees. All I do is buy cat litter and these employees are hanging on by a string. I suspect the after-work rush at 5:00 is brutal but the manager needs to offer some relief or extra staff at this time.

Do NOT shop here!!! This store does NOT honor Petco Ads...when they are clearly online and printed out and the customer is disabled, yet came in. They do NOT care! The Instore Customer Agent was nice, understood, looked up the online ad, carefully read the copy I printed out and called 3 people including the manager that DID NOT CARE. All she needed was to know how to honor the "CIBER25" code so I could get my purchase..."which HAD to be done In-Store". I came home without the purchase and the GREATEST DISAPPOINTMENT Copy of Ad attached.
