Barely any lanes open, you are left to check yourself out and bag your own groceries (Don’t worry there will be a lot of employees staring at you while you do it all yourself and they get paid). The employees make it clear they are miserable, don’t want to be there and confrontational. Zero customer support and employees attitudes is why I will no longer be using Safeway for my weekly shopping.

I shop at both King Soopers and Safeway. I find that both places have excellent customer service. They have excellent Chicken deals and when this happens I stock up on chicken. The store is always clean I've been shopping at the Safeway for 20 plus years. I also love the great customer service at starbucks. Thank you for your great customer service

This is not a Safeway I typically come to and I was wandering around the store aimlessly looking for something and I must have been down every aisle at least three times, until Simmy found me and made it all better. What a gem. Thanks Simmy.🥰

I placed a catering order with the deli for my salon lunch; and everyone loved it! They kept asking me where I got them, and saying how well the trays were put put together! Everything was so pretty and tasted amazing! My salon loved the catering trays from the deli! Thank you safeway deli team for everything!!

I don't normally write reviews, but our daughter ordered a marble cake with raspberry filling for her 19th birthday. What I am eating /enjoying tonight is one layer vanilla and one layer chocolate with very little raspberry filling... I wouldn't highly recommend Safeway in southlands when you're looking for a quick and easy solution

I normally do not write reviews but I do not know how else to get the company to reply to me. We purchased an amazon gift card as a gift, however the gift card was already used. Things happen, I understand. Amazon requested a receipt of purchase, I contacted the company for this. Originally I was sent to the wrong department and waiting on a response which took about a week... this could have been my fault. I know i have contacted the correct department and it said it would take 3-7 business days for a response and I have been waiting two weeks for a simple receipt. I have reached out several times without a response.
This actually location is actually very nice, and we enjoy shopping there. But I am mad with the corporate company and that is why I am leaving this review.

This is hands down the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. The staff is unbelievably rude. One employee in particular, Kimberly, was absolutely horrible. Instead of helping, she was confrontational and made the entire experience unbearable. It’s clear that customer service is the last thing on her mind. Avoid this place at all costs, especially if you have the misfortune of dealing with Kimberly. She has no business working in retail, and the store itself is just as awful. Don’t waste your time or money here.
