There order and pickup is on point! You can chat with the shopper to ensure that you get a good substitute and have a way to varify the right person is getting the order. I had to start getting my groceries here as my normal store had issues with that recent strike. They lost a star due to their produce. It is definitely not the freshest and can be a hit or miss. The other star is lost because their staff inside are often unprofessional and can be rude as heck (including management).

Went in for balloons and they don’t carry number balloons, that’s fine. So I went somewhere else to buy the balloons and called back to Safeway to ask if they would fill it along with more plain balloons. They said yes. Then they charged me $20 to fill the balloons that I had brought in because they don’t carry them. I guarantee it doesn’t cost $20 to fill these two balloons. Very annoying.

Horrible experience with the pharmacy and the pharmacist Erik.
I needed a bag of syringes because I ran out and needed to take my Ozempic.
Legally, these can be sold without a prescription, and the pharmacy was fine selling me syringe tips, but apparently the full syringe is off limits.
My options were miss my medication or get the script from my doctor - Sunday afternoon.
I was made to feel like I was doing some illicit activity or something. Very dehumanizing. Very upsetting.

I was reminded why I stopped coming to this store tonight. I can never leave without someone trying to sell/scam me when I leave! Girl Scout cookies is one thing but every time there’s some obscure “organization” looking for money and they are so pushy!!

Nice and clean. Safeway overall ia over priced on most items while I see they do have occasional deals with digital coupons. This safeway is nice and accessible though

Let me tell you about my Monday morning. I was really excited to teach today's lesson about healthy food that is sweet or salty, and crunchy or soft. I stopped at THIS Safeway to buy some examples for the kids to try. The guy in the produce dept. was friendly and the vendor on the cracker aisle was lovely. Then I got to the checkout. Now, I don't know why that stupid machine thinks I need help with my bananas. I checked out the apples and the carrots just fine. But, the stupid machine told me it called someone... and I believed it. Alas, no one ever came. I finished ringing my other groceries and tried the bananas again. No use. I waited, and pressed the button again (probably a few times)... still nothing. I tried to just checkout without my bananas, but again the stupid machine was in charge. I literally watched my clock for two minutes and no help ever came. I'm a patient person, but I also work for a living. I ended up leaving ALL my groceries. I would think that with King Soopers on strike, you would take this opportunity to prove how much better you are. Guess not. Now I'm pissed off and late for work. To be sure, I told everyone I saw WHY I was late and who was to blame. And, I still have to stop at the store. So, you can keep that Natural Grocers bag that had my stuff in it.... I'll get a new one when I stop after school, right across the street from you.

Consistently slipping on products and service. Have watched managers in a check out line close when a person enters their line with more items than they want to check out then reopen after that person leaves. Appalling self checkout that constantly needs attention. Been going here since the day it opened and am extremely sad to watch it slide into oblivion without a captain at the wheel.
Continues to degrade. What a shame

I have used this store a couple of times for grocery pickup and they have been great 😊 Both times my orders have been ready on time or even before the time I had requested.

Safeway won’t care because they are trying to be like king S. Pack a chair to sit on. Seems 15 minutes or so to get an ID check is the new norm to buy beer. They need to quit selling alcohol and get more help

First they put up a gate to inconvenience their paying customers. Not inconvenient enough, so they took away the baskets. I would've bought more this morning but I don't have enough arms and I'm not pushing a VW bus around for 6 things. Not inconvenient enough, they locked up the laundry detergent so I started going elsewhere for cleaning supplies. Now the employees are rude and have attitudes. Guess I need to start buying food elsewhere, too. I live 2 blocks away, luckily kings is right across the street. Been coming here for years, but it is what it is.👍
