Everyone was really helpful and clear with me about the system, the fees, and how their processes work. Coalton was awesome, super friendly and answered every one of my questions! He made a usually long and painful process of buying a car easy and fun :) highly recommend both him and Schomp!

Federico was amazing to work with! He made leasing my new car super easy and actually enjoyable. He listened to what I wanted, found great options within my budget, and handled everything with a friendly, no-pressure attitude. You can tell he really cares about his customers. I’d definitely go back to Federico for my next car and recommend him to anyone looking for a great experience.

I was impressed by the attention, effort and diligence of Mr. Denzel Robinson unfortunately the lack of response after the aftermath, was far from acceptable even when I was contacted by the dealership rep. Therefore, I can only rate them a 3.

Stephanie Locricchio was our sales agent, and I can’t compliment her enough! She was amazing!!! She heard our needs, was able to make the best recommendations, was patient enough until i was really ready to part with my old car, and showed us kindness that I have never experienced at any other dealership. All this without having any sales commission! We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new car, and needs to have a compassionate professional guiding him/her all the way, from choosing the right car and the several options of add-ons, types of coverage, etc., up to the time that they will need to register it at the DMV! Wonderful work! Thank you, Stephanie!

The in person buying with our salesperson was great. There was no pressure, he was really clear with his communication. He was training and his trainee was great too. If I was only reviewing the dealership based on our experience with the salesmen, it would be an easy five star review.
However the back end of purchasing the car has not been smooth. 10 days ago we came in with a preapproval from USAA, and completed all of our paperwork that day. As of now the dealership has still not sent the purchase agreement, so funding is not completed and the loan is still pending. We will lose our (stellar) interest rate if this is not done in time, and will have to start the loan process from scratch.
USAA has reached out to the dealership twice, and once to me in an effort to get the purchase agreement, which is why I was surprised to learn this afternoon USAA had still not received it.
So I called the dealership about the purchase agreement they need to submit, and I’m being told it will be done today. I’m also supposed to call the dealership back tomorrow to verify that they sent in the paperwork.
It is very frustrating to have completed everything on my end, but have to spend my lunch hour following up with USAA and then dealership on what paperwork needs to be sent in. It’s also frustrating that I have to call Schomp a second time to verify that they’ve sent the paperwork when this could have all been done the day we purchased the car, 10 days ago. I thought the dealership would take care of things on their end without me having to monitor and follow up, I’ve never had to do this when purchasing a car before.

Update to my experience initially posted:
I was contacted today by a rep from the dealership. He was very professional, respectful, and understood the issue discussed below. I am happy with how the issue was managed and moving forward will give the dealership another chance.
Over my experiences in the past have been fine, but my recent experience will push me to find another shop. Got a gift card from Schomp in the mail for $50 off service or parts, as stated in the letter. Called in and was told by a manager in service that I can use the card without issue to then be told by the parts sales rep that they will not accept the gift card. The sad part is that with the gift card the part would have been the same price as listed by the Flatirons Tuning shop in Boulder, but I didn’t want to make the drive. Would not recommend this dealership to others based on the poor communication and guidance provided.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I was given. Not all issue of a used car were disclosed when buying a car. The manager and sales person said that is why the warranty was offered. After I told them I would like to undo the deal because it had only have one day they offered to split the service repair which I declined. I was not treated with respect when undoing the deal and would not recommend buying a used car with them as they did not disclose a known issues with the vehicle.

Buyer Beware ~ Major Issues Immediately After Purchase/2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5i
My daughter purchased a car from this dealership less than a month ago, and she has already experienced multiple serious issues. Within the first few weeks, the check engine light and other warning lights started coming on intermittently. She contacted the dealership and used the warranty, but was given the runaround. They insisted they couldn’t inspect the vehicle until a warning light was on which, in her case, was unpredictable causing nearly a week of delays just to get the car in.
When the car was finally brought in, they told her it would need to stay for a few days and offered a rental at $50/day. During the inspection, they listed several major maintenance items that supposedly should have been addressed before the sale, including:
Rear and front differential flush
Spark plug replacement
PCV hose replacement
CVT drain, fill, and shift relearn
Timing belt replacement
Coolant flush
Engine air filter
Cabin air filter
Oil change
She was told a full inspection had been performed prior to her purchase, so we expected the car to be in good condition. Instead, it appears there were significant issues that were either overlooked or not disclosed.
As someone who understands basic car maintenance, I find it alarming that a vehicle requiring so much work was sold as “ready to go.” I hope others take caution when purchasing from this dealership and ask detailed questions about inspections, warranties, and included maintenance.
What’s most disappointing is that she purchased the warranty under the impression that any issues related to warning lights would be covered. Instead, we’ve now been told these repairs will cost between $4,000 and $6,000 out of pocket less than a month after purchase. As a mother, it’s heartbreaking to see my daughter, who bought her first car, facing such a financial burden so soon. I genuinely hope the management reads this and takes accountability for how this situation was handled. No customer, especially someone buying their first car, should feel deceived or left with thousands in unexpected repairs for a vehicle that was promised to be reliable.
10/30 *As a follow-up to my last review, I’m sharing additional details about our ongoing experience with Schomp Subaru*
My daughter bought a car from Schomp Subaru, and major issues were not disclosed before the sale. The dealership said the vehicle was sold “AS IS” and would only replace a bulb, leaving serious safety and maintenance concerns unaddressed. In our emails back and forth, it became clear that management seemed more concerned about the review than actually helping, as if the bulb replacement was the only thing that mattered. I hate to escalate, but I will be taking further action to protect my daughter and ensure this matter is properly investigated. Since this won’t be resolved, I will be escalating by filing complaints with consumer-protection agencies and the Better Business Bureau and by sharing my documentation with local media outlets, including 9News. I hope doing this helps protect other buyers from going through the same experience and to encourage more transparency from this dealership.
