I recently became a member with sooper credit union and it has been an amazing experience. I could have done it so easy or fast if I didn’t have the help from one of there employees, Amanda Calderone. She made it very easy, was available to help with any questions or concerns, friendly and very professional. I would definitely recommend sooper credit union to everyone! If you need someone personal and good ask for Amanda. Thank you for everything!

Recently took a loan out with this credit union to do some repairs around the house. Could of went to Wells Fargo but they want both arms, a leg and a interest rate that could chock a horse. We got excellent service, friendly group and the kid, (I say kid because he was lite years younger than us) who handled our request was really on top of it. Fast and efficient service.

After 10+ years of being a Soopers Member, I recently experienced my first auto/personal loan with them. Amanda Calderone made the process easy and stress free. I never had to go down to the branch which was amazing with a crazy work schedule. Communications were excellent and the overall experience was pleasant.

Dealing with Amanda Calderon is terrible! She was a ghost to setup a helock and it almost delayed our closing of the house. Then Sooper CU is terrible and not user friendly online and to get someone on the phone is terrible. To get ahold of Amanda after closing was an even WORSE experience, I have not heard from her again...call, email voicemail nothing. Great Customer Service Amanda.....NOT

Well.....this is an update to my original review. Approxamatly 20 hours after I left a very unhappy google review, I recieved a call. Mind you, I left no contact information and my name was not associated. They had the full amount in my account. I have mixed feelings about my experience. On the one hand, I'm very happy to have my money but I think it's utterly shameful that it took a gosh darn google review to elicit a response.Possibly this is more a comment on where we are as a society(old man yelling at cloud) LOL!I'm going to leave my original review but with this addendum for context.I will definitely say that Eric B was direct, to the point, professional and I wish I would have encountered him far earlier in this process!I was in communication with an R Stokes and got NOWHERE.Thank you Eric.- ORIGINAL REVIEW -These folks are, in my opinion, incompetent, dishonest, or a combination of the two.The short version is...they recieved a $1400.00 check for a refund for an account overpayment and refuse to give it back to me because they don't know what they did with it.I've provided soopers with copies of the check that they cashed nearly three months prior.They do not dispute that they recieved the money but since soopers can't figure out what THEY did with my money, I don't get it back. SCUM!!!

I just started with this bank getting an auto loan. The loan lender Amanda was absolutely amazing. She kept in contact daily and handled all the back and forth and paperwork and accommodated my crazy schedule. I've already close out my account with my other bank and moved to them. Great Customer Service Amanda.....NOT We were promised interst rates would be reviewed and changed quarterly, instead they change them monthly or whenever Soopers decides to give into government interest hikes. Yes i understand that Soopers does not control federal tax rates but when you state to a customer that interst rates will only change quarterly on customer accounts and you take it upon yourself to change interst rates monthly you are a liar..... Do yourself a favor, look for another bank. Don't even consider it.

I'm so pleased for this new location closer to home, Sooper Credit Union is the best , the people are professional and super friendly, always going the extra step to help me with all my banking. Jaden is a great help,, and I'm always happy to see him , I'm in and out no matter what I need help with . Thank you Jaden for your friendly smile and great attitude.

I have been a Sooper Credit Union member since 1983 and wouldn't go anyplace else. They provide all the services I need in a quick and efficient way. Whenever I have a problem they take care of it with understanding and efficiency. I want to give a shoutout to Dakota in the Illif branch. She's helped me several times and I appreciate her time and efforts.

I have been to many different banks and credit unions but this was the only place I have ever gotten a loan from and Iwas very nervous because I had no idea how to maintain my payments. Noreen was my banker there that helped me for months until It’s no longer necessary. I had been going through a lot of personal issues and was late on a few payments, but they were kind and helpful every time. They absolutely could have been rude and impatient with me - they had every right. But the kindness Noreen showed me while representing this bank made a massive difference in my life. This impacted me far beyond what I would ever expect from a bank. I Want to share this with you the reader because hopefully you could have a similar experience with a massive loan that makes you nervous. Or maybe you fall behind and have chaos and drama in your life - but you get to experience that little bit of sunshine I am trying to describe. I am forever grateful for my experience with this bank. As my loan is coming to a close I couldn’t help but tear up with gratitude as I expressed these things with her. With my freaking banker. I mean… wow. That’s all I can say. Thank you.

I do not have an issue with this branch in particular, but I have an issue with the answering service this credit union uses. I have had to call into the credit union twice, both times I have been put through an answering system that takes 30-45 minutes on hold to actually get through to a human being. The first time, I held because I was setting up my account and had no other option. This last time I was having to reset my password to make a payment through the app and sat on hold for 31 minutes and called it, I hung up. I am usually understanding, but this is ridiculous , I will be refinancing my auto loan elsewhere.
