I waited 3 months for my father's appointment. Two days before the appointment I received a robo call and the appointment time was 30 minutes earlier than what I had in my book. I called the office and they said that was the new time for the appointment and I confirmed the address. I get to that address 10 minutes early today only to find out that it was not at that address (100 Cook St) but at 12605 E. 16th Ave. The secretary said she would message the other office that we were on the way. Not wanting to take a chance of miscommunication, I called the other office to say we were 25 minutes away and confirmed elevator C 4th floor. The gps sends you to the emergency room entrance, I spent over 10 minutes on the phone and asking people before we were directed around the corner. Valet took over 10 minutes to take my car. We finally get to elevator C which is a good distance from the entrance especially for an 89 year old man, get to the 4th floor and it is at least 1/4 of a mile from the elevator to the receptionist. After all of that we are told it's the 5th floor we need. Finally get my 89 year old father to the 5th floor, walk another 1/4 of a mile to the receptionist, explain step by step what happened and they refuse to still see my dad but will do us a courtesy and see him in a month. My father was so exhausted from all the walking that we needed a wheelchair to get back to the entrance to get the car. I spoke with the office manager who said the January 24th appointment was the best she could do. The gross incompetence of the staff is unbelievable. I will never go there again!

Cannot say enough amazing things about the UCHealth organization! I developed a chronic medical condition almost 2 years ago in Colorado. UChealth has LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE! Literally! Every single doctor, location, staff member has been dedicated, kind, empathetic, and living the organization's mission statement to help the community! I so appreciate UCHealth and am so grateful they are in my community!

It is so negligent for a primary care provider to not treat a patients pain. If a patient is born with a crippling birth defect which causes severe pain they should be allowed to receive treatment for that pain. It is extremely uncaring for a provider to just say "we do not prescribe pain treatment here" Borders on malpractice.

It was time for my daughters first Clinic visit after transplant surgery. Every person we came in contact with were wonderful! The last test was an Ultrasound with Penny. She was so through with what she was do. She answered every question my daughter had. Even explained what she was doing. Made us feel very good with the procedure. Last week after returning home from the transplant, a message was sent to return to the Cancer Center on the next day which was a Sunday. We went to the Cancer Center then walked to Outpatient. No one is there and no wheelchair. We called and told to go to the 7th floor. No one there. No wheelchair. Remember, my daughter has a transplant and was released from the hospital that Saturday. Still weak. Called and told to go to the second floor. Finally!!!!!!!! People! They were wonderful! Who ever dies the scheduling should know where to send transplant patients on a Sunday when everyone is at home. It's crazy to walk all over the hospital weak after surgery. The medical staff and support team are absolutely fantastic but the scheduling ten needs to be overhauled. Ten stars for the medical staff and support team. Four stars for the scheduling team.

Checked in for a scheduled CT scan. I was highly impressed with the GPS directions that have for inside the hospital. Utilizing there app, finding your way around the hospital was a breeze. The staff was amazing, courteous and professional. They got me in right away and got me in and out in a heartbeat! Well done!

I had a colonoscopy this morning & the gastroenterology department was top notch, from the front desk staff, to the pre-op nurses, Roni & Katie, I was so impressed. Dr Kao and his anesthesiologist , & support staff were amazing. I was asleep within 2 minutes & woke up in the recovery room under Nurse Megan's watchful eyes.

First, kudos on getting the parking situation straightened out. When I came in so see my ID physician for my yearly appointment it was the easiest parking experience I have had there in years. What I don't understand is why it takes os long to see a doctor. My ID physician appointment was six weeks out and my referral to dermatology is 6.5 months out. How can you say you are providing the best health experience for your patients when appointments are so far out? I would really appreciate an explanation so I can understand this issue.

My doctor is great, but the administration is an absolute mess. The bills are higher as you get charged from UCHealth and the Univ of Colorado. The bills are hard to understand. I've been waiting for 3 months to get ABD forms filled out correctly. I actually pay for doctor visits to problem solve administration. Patient Advocacy hasn't helped. Insurance states they've been asking for clinicals for months, but my doctor had no idea. When you call, an operator leaves messages with admin. Yet, they rarely call back and the forms still aren't completed correctly. I've never had this many administrative and communication problems with other hospitals or doctors offices.

Firstly, these places are never 'fun', but necessary and I'm glad we have them. Now the practical realities of the facility. It's huge, confusing, hard to find parking and far from home. Once you figure out which entrance to go in, then what floor to go to, what direction to turn and which desk to approach, then you're all set. Now they do have people at every entrance to direct you, so they clearly are doing what they can to alleviate the confusion. It's an older complex, but decently maintained. You feel like you're going to get sick just by entering the building. Lots of construction right now, so that only adds to the mayhem. Once you reach your Drs space, the staff is generally quite nice and friendly. The admin people are a little dry, but that's to be expected. Nurses and doctors seem top notch, giving quality care and display a kind 'bedside' manner. Overall, would recommend them for just about every kind of health care. In general, stay well so you don't need to pay these guys a visit, but when the need arises, you can feel good about working with this group.
