I come here to refill my cat litter, the employees are nice, it's obvious they are understaffed so i don't like to make much of a fuss about things in the store. Petco already sucks with the "care" they give to their small animals but it's scary seeing 2 hamsters being housed together knowing they are strictly solitary animals. Unless you want an injured or dead hamster I wouldn't recommend following Petco's small animal care standards.

took my miniature poodle in to the groomer at this petco location. took 8 HOURS. for just a brush out. he was shaved poorly, resulting in clipper burns. photos attached explain the very poor grooming service they provided. leaving my dog uncomfortable, injured & as his owner very upset. I would recommend to look elsewhere when looking to get your pets groomed, wouldn't recommend going to this location whatsoever.

I don't think this business ever answers the phone I have called the groomers line for the past week!

The vet and tech themselves were awesome and kind, I appreciated them a lot, they knew how to handle my pup and reduce any anxiety by distracting with treats and whatnot, but the two docked stars is because of the lack of disinfectant. This is a high traffic area with high risk animals, so disinfectant frequently is important to me. I watched three fully unvaccinated puppies use the scale before my dog who was getting his parvo vaccine and they didn’t spray in between them and him…the perfect way to spread parvo. They walked all over the parking lot and store so even higher risk, and I just wasn’t comfortable putting my dog on a surface just after them with not even a wipe down in between. Would definitely suggest better preventative steps.

Management needs to start paying their workers instead of saying no one wants to work, closing early and leaving boxes of items on the floor instead of stocking shelves are not a good business practice

Closed an hour early for no reason, say they are short staffed so they can't help you unless you are purchasing dry goods. Got 2 people just standing around.

Don't waste your time here, they like to make up their own hours and are never open when they say they are. Turnovers crazy. It was nice but a half measure might as well not be there at all

It's a shame it's the only pet store in the area. They are always understaffed even prior to Covid. I do know they have a large employee turnover which says a lot about the company and how they treat their employees. I've called to reach their groomers in the past and never heard back from them. Which I'm glad about that now. Drive the extra 20 minutes and find another pet store
