Really terrible service. We were one of two tables occupied and I still had to go to the bar to ask for more water and another glass of wine. Food was decent but really overpriced. I will not go back and pay that amount of money to be ignored.

What a waste a of money & disappointment. My wife and I tried this place for Denver Restaurant Week since it was local. The evening before she showed me the menu and we were both hesitant because the online photos did not look appetizing. We went on a Saturaday evening on Denver restaurant week and it was nearly empty at 7pm. We were still hesitant but went in. The atmosphere was ok, nevermind there was still Xmas decor and it was March. We were sat next to a glass coat closet with coats thrown into it (not hung up) and a large visible extension cord probably for the vacuum. I only mention it because this is not the aesthetic of a restaurant charging the prices this place does. Neither of our appetizers were appetizing or appealing. Her pasta entree tasted like it was bought from the store and my "coq au vin" which was anything but seems like it was something bought from King Soopers and put together with dark meat chicken definitely not braised in wine in a thin, bland broth with store bought noodles. Even dessert seemed like it was probably packaged from Sysco and put on a plate. For the both of us at $55 each and we both did a wine flight for over $20 it was over $200 for one of the worst dine in experiences I've ever had. I was hesitant to even leave a tip as our sniffly clearly from a cold waitress didn't seem to really know what was on the menu or knew anything about the wine let alone pronounce the names. Our meal was brought out by one of the kitchen cooks who are all visible from the dining area and seemed more fit for a Village Inn. We'll never be back and I hope others avoid this money pit. In contrast we just paid for a party of 10 at Bone Fish Grill with an infinitely better experience for just $350 including the alcohol.

we did the groupon deal for a wine tasting and it was super worth it. the wines were incredible and the bread and cheese plates were great. service was fantastic.

It was strangly empty for a Saturday night. Makes me think it won't stay in business for long. It was strange they only gave us one menu and immediately asked for it back. Made us feel like they did not have very many menus for the restaurant. The food was fine. The wine was really good.

It's been a few years since my last review of this restaurant. GOOD places always deserve, merit, demand and new review a few years later to see if the shine is gone. Happy to report this is restaurant is still a hopping place NOW with live music, frequently AND frequent wine dinners! Food is still excellent, unique, and with a changing menu. On the appetizers the Wilt Boar Wontons and Calamari are recommended. Both unique and not found in any other places I've been. There are a multitude of charcuterie and cheese plates as well not found in most places. The wine selection is great AND if you like something you drank it is likely in the wine shop attached to the restaurant. This might be the most unique feature and we always leave with a new favorite wine. Don't see what you want? The owner Eldon will gladly order a case for you! All in all, this is still one of my favorite restaurants in the counter. Good value, good food, great wine selection, owner greets returning customers, live music on the weekend...what more can you ask for. I recommend!

Burnt food; Not enough wait staff to table ratio - slow service; Food presentation sloppy; No rolls ready for Bread tray told they were coming - never did; $25 drinks; Small Portions; Large Chat tray was as small size for other establishments; Food Cost for what your provided = Terrible. We spent $150 for lunch for this. Never will return.

We went on Valentine's Day for the prix fix menu. They were quite busy. We were seated, and Eldon came by our table to discuss wine selections. I chose a nice Lambrusco and it was perfect! The service was good and the food was great! 3 courses and dessert. The ambiance was romantic. We had a wonderful time!

I had made reservations for my 27th Anniversary with my wife to come here. We even came early and initially ordered a cheese plate with bread and two glasses of wine to start. We had to wait over 40 minutes to get some cheese with no bread and just my wife's order of wine. Our server Sara told us she had forgotten to write down our order and couldn't remember what wine I ordered. Sara explained that the bar's printer went out and that's the reason why she couldn't remember my wine order. I am puzzled why the bread didn't come out with our cheese plate. This place has gone downhill and I would not recommend it. I'm not sure, but my wife and I were the only minorities at the restaurant and am wondering if this had any factor to the horrible service.

Honestly so disappointed with our experience - we have dined here many times in the past but the last few visits have been mediocre and today was the worst we have experienced. There was plenty of staff but very slow service - our visit spanned over 2 hours for a simple 3 course meal. The meal itself was just ok and certainly not worth the price tag. We would love to support a good local business but unfortunately in this case, we will not be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The calamari was excellent as was our entree Ribeye and steak Frites. Wines suggested by our server were superb and complimented our entree selections perfectly. Meal was topped of with Tiramisu which was best that I have had in years. Overall a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend.

I called to get a crème brûlée to go. The guy who sounded like a surfer (I’m not trying to be rude, just the best way to describe him), said he couldn’t sell it to me because it comes premade in a ceramic bowl. He wasn’t really helpful in coming up with solutions, so I came up with one. Can I purchase the bowl? I’m an introvert so I really didn’t want to be around people just to eat dessert on a Friday night. A lady came on the phone and she was nice and trying to figure something out. When I got to the restaurant the guy with the surfer accent, didn’t say hello at all. But I didn’t know if he worked on the wine side of the restaurant or not. I asked if he worked here, he said, “Yeah, but I’m helping these people right now.” Totally fine, but didn’t acknowledge me until I acknowledged him first. The lady was super nice. Maybe the guy is new and is overwhelmed. But maybe he should be back of house if he doesn’t want to be bothered with customers. Looking at the reviews on here, it seems I’m not the only one who had an experience that left a poor taste in their mouth. The restaurant was pretty empty, wouldn’t you want to sell me dessert, even if it takes a couple more steps that go outside of the norm. I felt confused and not welcome (besides the main lady I worked with). I felt like it was an inconvenience at least with the previously mentioned guy. But maybe he’s new and overwhelmed, the lady was helping him, so that’s a possibility.Long story, long: besides the lovely, nice waitress who was very helpful, the place had a stuck up/bougie feel to it, but as empty as it was in there, I was genuinely surprised the staff wasn’t more welcoming and warm. This was way more difficult than it needed to be. Kind of a bummer.

We loved the food and drink here. The service by Miles was excellent but when we were seated, we waited over 15 minutes to even get someone to come over to the table! We want to come back but please have your servers check in with ALL customers frequently?
