“We were having some mechanical concerns over Labor Day weekend. I called first thing in the morning and I was shocked when I was told I could get in that morning! Most places locally say they're booked a week plus out and it's hard to be down a car for that long. When we dropped it I explained the concern and they knew exactly what was wrong. Even better they said I could have it back later in the day. This never happens in this area. Normally it's a 2-3 day period where the car is in the shop. When I checked over the invoice the part fees were less than I have been accustomed to paying in Vail/Avon and the labor time was honest. Avon Auto Mechanics is the place I have spent the last 5 years looking for. Keep up the great work. I will plan on bringing our vehicles here for any repair and highly recommend them.”

“Bryan worked hard and efficiently to get my mini van cleaned up. I had purchased it from a family with four young children, so I'll let you imagine what it looked liked on the inside. The father would also use it for occasional handyman work, so on top of Kool-Aid, apple sauce, and melted candy stains, the van also was very filthy with grease and dirt. Bryan came to my location and cranked it out in less than half a day. Other shops required me to drop the van off and leave it over night (at a higher cost), so having him do this was very convenient! the van was left immaculate, almost looking and smelling brand new from the inside... one month later the engine blew, so at least the van died clean... Moral of the story, call Bryan for a quality service that's relatively quick.”

“I was a little weary about going to Walmart for tire service since I’ve never used them, but gave them a chance after finding the tires I wanted for far less than anywhere else (on sale on their website). I ordered them direct to this store, and set an appointment for 1pm the next week. I got to the store a bit early (around 12:30) and checked my vehicle in. The service manager, Andy, told me the guys go to lunch at 1 and it might be a longer wait, but he’ll try and get me in asap. I was fine with this, and went out to my car to grab a book to read, and see Andy walking over to grab my vehicle, not even 5 min after checking in. I asked him “you’re grabbing it now?” and he just said “yeah might as well get you in before lunch”. They also looked into and solved a minor grinding noise I had when turning, without asking anything extra. Had my car done before 2, less than a 1.5hr wait, perfect amount of time to grab a coffee and bite to eat, and get some shopping done.

I’m writing this after driving back home, which is a ~40min drive on the highway to neighboring Summit county, and no issues with the installation so far. Tires were balanced well as a minor vibration I had at highway speeds seemed to be gone. These guys were professional, friendly, and efficient, compared to previous experiences having to wait 4-5hrs at other tire shops in the area for the same thing. Hopefully Walmart is paying them well! As mountain locals we all know how limited our options are for tire shops and the importance of having reliable tires. Definitely will consider going here for future tire needs.”
