I have a 1939 Cadillac Fleetwood that belonged to my great grandfather. Lin has worked on this car several times. He has done some body work, installed a worn out exhaust/muffler system that looks vintage, worked on the brakes, done some electrical work, etc. I am always impressed with him and the quality of his work. He is truly a master of his craft!

Can’t recommend Lin and his crew enough! This is the first Google review I’ve ever written, but my experience with Coates was so good that I feel like I have to. Every other body shop in the area was booked until the end of the year, but after looking at the damage Lin managed to squeeze me in about 3 weeks after I first came to him. He was super transparent and friendly during the entire process and his pricing was very fair. My car looks great and I have no complaints and nothing but good things to say about Lin and how he treats his customers. I came to Coates because a friend recommended them and I’ll definitely continue to recommend them.

I can’t say enough about Lin and his team! They were the only auto shop that could get my car in before the end of the year. Not only that, but he quoted me almost 50% LESS than other shops to complete the repairs. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to fix my car, these guys are the only shop I’d ever recommend to friends and family! I’m not typically inclined to write reviews, but with outstanding service like this, I couldn’t help but share. Moved here from NJ. My carbureted 427 couldn't breath. Mr. Coates worked with me personally to adjust the 750 Holley to minimize expenses to work it out. Unfortunately the altitudes just needed a better system with finer real time adjustments so we both decided a Holley Sniper system was the answer. Coates installed the full system and the car runs better than when it was first built! Coates put way more time into these efforts than he charged for because he is more focused on helping than over-charging his customers for his great talents. Thank You!!

Lin painted a car for me 12 years ago and it still looks fantastic and I get compliments on the paint and body work everywhere I go. He painted another one for me 5 years ago and it looked fanastic. The project then went on hold in storage for a few years and when we parked it in the sun for a couple of days to warm up for glass installation, the clear coat popped and blistered. Lin worked with the paint manufacturer and they determined the problem was likely a defective hardner chemical. Lin graciously offered to repaint the car at his expense. He completed it in a reasonable time frame during the pandemic and did a fantastic job. It looks even better than the first time, if that is possible! He is a top notch builder and painter and I can definitely say he stands behind his work. I highly recomend him and won't hesitate to have him do my next project!Services: Painting

After a deer attacked my car I took it to Coates Collision, they fixed the dent and it looks like it never happened. The paint was a perfect match, my car was returned to me in 2 days all clean, beautiful and shiney. If you want your collision repair done perfectly then take it Coates Collision, they're the best!
