I don't have a problem with you scanning my ID to make sure I'm old enough to buy tobacco. But you need to have a scanner that works if that's going to be your policy.

Was told they won't be bringing in anymore of a specific product after I've been a loyal customer for close to 5 years. Will be taking my business to 7-11 as their selection is superior along with their customer care philosophy.
