The staff here is amazing. I had a four hour nightmare that ended up being a battery issue. It was late by the time I got a jump and this store was still open. The manager (I believed her name was Melanie) helped me select the right battery and changed it for me. The old one was so corroded that it was fused to the terminals. It was pretty cold and dark but she didn’t give up even though it took 30+ to break it free and was so friendly and kind throughout the whole process. She got me fixed up and on my way after a long horrible day, couldn’t be more grateful to her!

DJ was so incredibly helpful. Not only did I easily get the battery swapped out but there was an issue that he went out of his way to help me on. He was so kind and knowledgeable and made sure that everything was fine and safe before I left. Seriously shout out to this guy!!

Very few options in Boulder on a Saturday afternoon for an out of towner with a dead car battery. Luckily this one was, and double lucky that DJ was working.
He took fantastic care of everything - replaced and installed the battery, cleaned the terminals, and checked the alternator.
Thanks AAP AND DJ for making what would’ve been a truly terrible situation a small bump in the road.

Our battery had been acting up and stopped in here to have our old battery tested. Sure enough it failed the test. We purchased a DieHard and had them install it at no extra cost. Great experience...excellent customer service.

Came in to buy a simple mirror for my Tacoma. Asked in the beginning if they had any with turn signal. They looked them up and said they had one. They asked if I wanted the cheaper one after I had clarified my needs. I said yes because I had clarified what was needed. I even asked once more at the end to verify it was the one with a blinker. They special ordered and charged me freight which was expected.
A week later the part shows up. I open the box and no blinker. They wouldn't even pay me back the freight they charged me for the wrong. All they said is " you said you wanted the cheaper one" even though I explicitly said with the blinker. They never even had the correct part so they litterally just sold me what ever they had.
Jon and Martin. Take responsibility for the mistake and make it right! I will never go here again.

This is a review of AAP in general, corporate/company, not for the local stores. Bought a lifetime warranty alternator and two years later it failed to charge, leaving me stranded. An expensive tow home and return to the store showed the alternator was bad on their tester. But..., they no longer have an alternator for my vehicle (older Mercedes diesel) in their system. So..., they refunded me. But the refund went to a card that is no longer valid and it did not go to my new card number (same bank/account, different card number). Repeated calls to corporate and they claim that it can take 3 months to come back to them (in this day of computerized ACH's and such, this is complete bollocks!), then they'll refund me in another way. So I'm out the money for this "lifetime" (made in China rebuild, so "lifetime" just means the lifetime of the crappy rebuild) AND have to fork out ANOTHER $200 for one from Napa. The manager at my bank wrote a letter that they've checked my account and it has had no transfers, returns, etc., in the amount that Advance claims they refunded. Advance corporate doesn't care, they're just glad that they got my money and will never refund me. I've shifted to buying my own and parts for customers vehicles from other sources now.
