I wish I could say the same about this place as everyone else. I LEARNED how to do drugs in aim house. Name one drug and any way to get it into your body I learned it.

I am having so much fun here in recovery. There is so much connection with the staff and the clients. Connection is the opposite of addiction. I highly recommend AIM House for recovery.

I can’t write all the amazing things I think about this program and it’s workers in one review. But I could not be prouder to have been apart of the AIM house family. As a struggling young adult, AIM provided an extensive amount of resources and therapy(group and individual) that helped create healthy habits. Most importantly, their team of nurturing mentors are people I model my life around, and I am so grateful to have shared 2 years of my life with.I owe the Conroy family, their staff, and my parents for being smart enough to choose AIM every ounce of success I achieve

AIM House is the perfect residential transitional program for anyone looking for extra support and guidance that also loves the outdoors and being creative. The therapists and staff are incredibly supportive and helpful with all of my needs! I'm really thankful for my time here and for the community I have found!

If you are a female stay away from aim house. I was in aim house for a short three months. I was one of around 10 boys that lived in the main house. During my last month a male participant walked into my room while I was getting dressed, then proceeded to openly discuss with other male participants about “who would be the lucky one to barge in her room next”. On another occasion a male participant and I got into a small altercation that turned into him getting loud and acting aggressive. After this, I became fearful of my living situation and requested to be in a female identifying house. The staff responded by allowing this participant in the house, trying to convince me that I was being dramatic or easily triggered. After my parents getting involved and openly crying to them on how uncomfortable I felt, they let me move. At that point I did not feel that aim house had my safety in their best interest so my therapist, family , and I decided I needed to leave. There were some good staff but I would not send your daughter there.

I am a registered nurse and Community Outreach Coordinator in Boulder and I interact often with other programs that provide mental health and substance use disorder treatment. I am very aware of the AIM House program and have worked with various staff there. The feedback I get from the community and my personal interaction with their staff has been very positive and AIM House is considered to be a valuable program for young adults struggling to become successful adults.

I was an AIM House Participant in the Spring of 2019. Not only did this program save my life, it gave me my life back after struggling with addiction for many years. This isn't just your average 12 step program. It targets the person as whole using practices from eastern and western methodologies. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive.I would recommend this program to any young adult struggling with addiction, depression and anxiety. Their willingness to encourage you while still focusing on you achieving and maintaining your recovery makes it a top notch program. Of course, you have to want to achieve those goals in order to make them a reality but the staff's personal experience in addiction and recovery makes this program unique in Colorado.

As a participant from several years ago, I found this place to have its highs and lows--though more so the latter. Some mentors were good, and the weekend activities were fun. On the other hand, a significant deal of staff was ill-equipped to handle the participants. From my recollection, within the first two weeks of my arrival, on a spring break to Zion National Park in Utah, a staff member deserted the participants and ended up drinking with his friends who, coincidently,

My family's experience with AIM House was mixed at best. I think the people there care about the participants, but my daughter went there straight out of wilderness therapy and they did not follow the treatment plan at all. It was not convenient for them, so they just kind of winged it, and as a result she was able to get her phone back right away and then they gave her the debit card, so she bought a ticket and left. Oh they were sorry, but they should have exercised more control of her and maybe this would not have happened. Once Kelly Corn gets your money, don't expect him to call you back. This complaint is not about the money; my daughter is in a very precarious place right now and I hold AIM house responsible.

this facility is ran by sloppy drug addicts. The therapist here would often cancel session and even in the session were apathetic. The other clients are so wack. One of the past clients was planning on shooting up his school, sounds like conspiracy to murder... No one did anything about the clients having sex. The staff enforced rules only when it was convenient to them. If you want to be treated like a s*** head and feel misunderstood 24/7 this place is great for you! Aim House WILL make you relapse. Hah good luck if you are considering going here. Worst experience of my life. -Will C.

It is a great positive life changing experience. Staff member are very friendly, respectful and supportive. It is structured for you to achieve all your needs and wants in life. They are very flexible in order to ensure your success and you have a lot of freedom to do what you want. They basically build and determine the completion of the program depending on the time you want to finish it, with a minimum of three months. The Castle is amazing, great vibes with a lot of space and the vintage vibe makes it extremely cozy. Location is the best you can get, close to campus and any good place in Boulder. The only thing is that they are very strict when it comes to substance use. Although the punishment for it is not too bad and it could be way worse. The Castle is great, except for the wall sockets lol. They incorporate great values into your life like discipline, responsibility and integrity. You get to bond with a lot of people including participants and staff members. And if you really appreciate alone time, the basement is a perfect spot for it.
