I have never, ever given a business a negative review, but my experience with Arhaus was so disappointing. I stopped in to see the fabric for a chair that was on sale. I told the salesperson that I needed to take a photo of it to be sure it was a match. She looked them up online and said that there were 300 in stock, so no worries and no hurry. She further asked me to please order them from the store and not online so that it would "help the store." That was right before Easter weekend. I went to check the color, found that it was perfect, and had to find time to return to the store (I work full-time and they close at 6). I checked online one last time before calling the store to order only to find that the sale price expired on March 31. The chairs were now $80 more each. The salesperson never told me the sale would be over at the end of March, or I would have gladly placed my order in time. I then called the store to see what could be done. Simple answer: nothing. Her advice? "Wait and see if they go on sale again in the future." No apologies, no offer to help in any way.

I have worked with Arhaus for many years. I have used them personally and professionally for myself, clients and friends. I have always worked with Donna Phelper and she is just the best you can work with. Her design aesthetic and customer service is unmatched. I love every piece of furniture I have in my home and I know if for some reason something doesn’t work out, it will be taken care of by the company with the help of Donna. For me this is a company you can rely upon to do the right thing, to have the most beautiful options and to work with you throughout the entire process.

First google review - first 1 star review ever. Love the furniture but terrible purchasing and delivery experience. They were great up until I placed my order. Ordered the Jakob table and had to have the table top delivered 3 times before it was delivered without damage. Huge dents and cracks in the wood when it was unpacked in the van. The first time they delivered the table without hardware so the table top balanced on the Vertex base unsecured for over two weeks. The technicians came out to secure the table top the first time and didn’t have the hardware and had to come out again. Additionally, the wrong shape for certain items was shipped. I was met with enormous push back when returning anything. Expect to pay restocking fees for everything – we even had damaged items I took pictures of that they charged me restocking fees for. I also enjoyed working with Kat but when we made our large purchase she was never in the picture again to give advice or guidance. The complications, problems, and headaches from purchasing from this store were not worth it. They made me feel like a complicated buyer and never offered any apologies or concessions for the inconvenience, headaches and wasted time from our purchase. All in all, an awful experience with the staff and managers. I will be driving down and working with Park Meadows for future purchases.

The quality of the Kipton sectional couch is disappointing. Far less expensive couches purchased from Crate & Barrel and Z. Galleries held their shape better over many years versus the Kipton in one year. The back cushions don't hold their shape and cave in more quickly than the Crate & Barrel Lounge sectional. The seat suchions cushions don't hold their shape as well either, sagging in the middle where people sit. And their 'double wrapped' lining to prevent feathers from poking through the cushions is completely ineffective. I'm regularly poked by feathers every day. This is especially disappointing as I specifically asked about feathers before purchasing and was told feathers almost never come out on their floor sample. The Boulder store said I could return it but then customer service said they couldn't and the solution would be to take the suchions out of the cover EVERY WEEK and fluff the pillows and remove the feathers. This is my worst purchase if all the furniture in my house. Wish I bought the C&B Lounge sectional. They look so similar but the quality is much better than the Kipton.

Nice furniture but terrible purchasing experience. Early December we order a beautiful table from them. Was told it would arrive by early January. We emphasized before we purchased how important the time line for the delivery was to us. Our house has been under construction for months and we have been without a kitchen table the entire time and we have young kids. So not having a table has been a big struggle. There is no way to track the shipment online, the only way to do it is to call the store. Each time we call the store the tables arrival date is pushed back. It gets pushed back to mid January, so we call mid January to make sure the table is still supposed to arrive soon. Obviously its been pushed back, now to the end of January. I ask to speak to the sales rep manager and the sales rep tell me to ask for Kristine in the Boulder location.I get in touch with Kristine. Kristine off the bad is very rude and dismissive. The sales rep had given us a 5% discount on the table in early January to make up for the fact that the delivery date got pushed so far back. The first thing Kristine does is throw her own sales rep under the bus saying that she should not have given us a 5% discount and then tells us the initial deliver dates are only estimates. The 5% discount was the only reason we did not cancel our order earlier and to the sales reps credit she ended up being very nice and apologetic. Outside of the very incorrect delivery date I had no issue with the sales rep.Kristine was the final straw. Their furniture is beautiful, but way over priced and not worth the insanely long wait times. Shop at Create and Barrel or Pottery Barn instead, much better customer service.

First review 1 star: My fiance and I purchased over 10 pieces of the Coburn couch along with the Worry Free Protection plan which was sold to us with the illusion that it would be quick and easy. It has been the complete antithesis of quick and easy. I went to Arhaus Boulder regarding the issue, spoke with Kat who directed me to Kristen with no response from either and avoidance from Kat. Months later, we still haven't had our couches cleaned. What they lack in customer service they make up for in price, spare yourself the headache.Review update 8/27/23: After leaving my first review, I was able to get in contact with Barbara from the Arhaus corporate office who assisted with dilemma. We are very pleased with the outcome, Thank you Barbara for all of your efforts on this matter.

The Arhaus store is beautiful and has great products, however their staff could use training. I called today to check and see if a specific item was in stock and after waiting a while for them to look it up, was assured that it was in stock in the store (I had mentioned I wanted to see the color of the product in person before purchasing). Drove all the way to the store from out of town, only to be told it was never in stock in the store and instead was in stock in their warehouse in Ohio. Very frustrating. Additionally, I decided to take a chance and order it online despite the frustrating experience and the online order did not provide me a confirmation number or email confirmation, although it did charge my card. Overall, it was not a good experience and I'd recommend training for the store staff to ensure this doesn't happen to other customers.

Do not buy from them. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We bought a $6000 couch a couple years ago and it’s been a nightmare from day one. One cushion was not filled enough and one was misshapen. It took months to get a replacement. When the replacements came, they were the wrong color. Had to wait months again for new replacements. Since then we’ve had 4 repairs. Most recently a service technician came out and concluded that we need a new spring. He said it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the spring to be delivered. After nine weeks I called them and they told me they sent it to the wrong address. Now they tell me we have to wait another 6 to 8 weeks for a new spring. The spring is about the size of my thumb. Don’t try calling other branches in the company because none of them can communicate by phone. They are only able to communicate with each other by email which takes 24-48 hours. They say they’ll get back to you within 48 hours but it never happens.

At every turn or point of contact with this company the customer service was terrible. The web concierge page was inoperative so they never answered any of my questions. I think the company overall,is in over its head. My furniture has taken over seven months to be delivered. We will see if it's damaged or not. I couldn't pick up a floor model that I bought for six weeks even though I pleaded with them because we had a once in a lifetime event where that piece would have been instrumental. When I called Boulder they wouldn't answer my questions or requests in a straight forward manner. This company is not about serving you.

As a local Interior Designer, I have shopped at Arhaus for years. Always an excellent experience. High quality products and a great team at the Boulder store. Donna has always offered exceptional customer service to my clients. She was excellent at managing lead times/expectations through COVID delays as well as helping manage deliveries with construction/remodel delays. Highly recommend this store!

Several years ago, I moved from Indianapolis, Indiana to the Boulder, Colorado area. I was very familiar with traditional home style, but knew very little about mountain decor. Living in Nederland gave me an opportunity to learn about a more rustic and versatile new look. I met Donna Phelper before she began working at Arhaus and her recommendations and savvy were a perfect fit for me! Over the course of several years of remodeling and decorating, Donna continued to be a valuable asset and a good friend. I even invited her to join the planning team working on my extensive kitchen remodeling…it was important those selections meshed with my overall sophisticated mountain look. Donna was my “go to” person even after she moved to Arhaus where I continued to feel like a valued customer. Donna’s years of experience and wide range of knowledge about products and styles are current today! I highly recommend Donna Phelper as an Arhaus professional!

I have been working with Donna for several years on various projects throughout our house. The communication has always been wonderful. Donna is knowledgeable, professional, keeps on trend, but also realizes she is helping to create a timeless feel and flow throughout the entire space. Donna has a great eye for style, a wonderful ear to listen to what you want to create, and she is aware of a budget. It's a pleasure to work with Donna! She is absolutely our go to person at Arhaus.

We have worked with Arhaus in Boulder for 3 years and our experience has been excellent, specifically with Donna Phelper and the management team. Though our purchases have almost always gone off without at hitch (even during COVID), when there was a snag, Arhaus makes sure the issue is resolved at no cost and timely. I would absolutely recommend working with Donna nd the Arhaus team!
