I give it 3 stars because it’s a great idea, but some of the people here start a bunch of drama. But if you keep to yourself work you’ll have a better experience. Gotta tell yourself “I’m not here to make friends, I just need a bed to sleep in.”

Great place! truly cares for the youth and provides the most "home-like" environment. Well trained and caring staff!

None of these people have any idea what they’re talking about. i currently reside as a resident for the organization and if i had one word to describe it, it would be garbage. staff do not even try in the slightest to relate to the residents or make them feel welcomed. if you need help they will give you some resources to get it but i can do the exact same thing from the internet. needs to be handled by caring professionals. one close look @ you can tell the so called “faculty” members are clearly not fit for the job. depressing building forsure.

If you have a significant other/husband/partner/girlfriend/wife that resides there, you can only spend the night 15 nights out of the whole year 365 days there because of a really weird policy that tenants can only have 4 overnight check ins every ninety (90) days and only one daytime guest checked in at one time. And they select only certain young adults to be a part of their programs. But the moment you're a single mother, they can't meet with you for months on end, and you don't get accepted into Tgthr Homes because you have a child. Even the young adults who have severe mental illnesses and other problems won't necessarily get picked for help through the program, even if they have the space/availability. Until these policies change, especially about living with your s/o, my review will remain a one star. Bye

Let this be a reality check for all. Youth shelters are just a way to say we help yet we will candy coat and overly protect clients when they have an argument but demand the other person leaves because they don’t feel that you’re LGBTQ. And so if you want to make youth of today and adults of tomorrow think it’s ok to ban and forbid their problems from their space regardless public or private, then let this place stay open.

Zoey is right! Equality is a must and is a basic human right. These so called helpers should know how it feels to be unheard or to be heard with a biased opinion from those you ask help from. Let the terrible be known and the beginning of reality sink in just like the deadweight that will be falling in the bank account!! Zoey, open your dream business and make the world a better place, I know money is hard right now, but the world needs you more than ever.
