I was very excited to use Barnsley after being in Boulder area for 13 years.. New tires were mounted and after 10k front were taking serious inside wear. The first tires lasted 20k and wore evenly all round.. When I went in and asked to be told if the front tires were balanced or not? They told me that I needed an alignment before even looking at the car. I asked to be told what the balance of the front tires was and they said no.
Not coming back ever...

Came by cause I wanted their opinion on a flat I had gotten. They let me leave my car there so I had time to research and not feel rushed placing an order. Pleasantly surprised that they installed the tires and was ready for pick up the same day I placed an order online! Very nice family owned shop, thank you 😁

Took my truck in after installing a new lift kit and upper control arms to get an alignment. Was asked by the tech if i had any specific way i wanted it set up, and like 99% of customers running through any given shop i didn’t know what caster or camber or anything meant. Considering he does this stuff for a job i figured i was in good hands so i just told him whatever he recommended. He asked after the alignment if it was normal for my tires to rub, which are about 4 inches bigger than the stock ones, and i figured it wasn’t a big deal as they barely rubbed before but it was possible at full turn/compression. He said he’d adjust it quickly for me if i wanted him to, but not having had a chance to drive the truck and being on a time crunch i just took it home as it was. They aligned my pretty heavily modified truck to factory specs, pushing the tires so far back in the wheel wells that my fender was pushed out of place on the drive home and i can’t even back into my garage without risk of damaging it further. Now i’m left with a truck i’m unable to drive in any direction other than straight forward and when i went back in the next day a different tech was being condescending and telling me that because i didn’t have precise specifications for them when i came in that the tire rubbing was my fault and that i would have to pay for another alignment to rectify the issue that they caused despite being told the opposite the day prior. Maybe it’s a miscommunication or maybe you shouldn’t expect your customers to know more about cars than the career technicians you employ and make the effort to inform them if a known issue is going to present itself. Been coming here for a while for random stuff i can’t do myself but i’ll surely be finding a new place. I did learn something new though so maybe they deserve one and a half stars. Thanks guys!

I was on a long road trip and experienced some hydroplaning. Checked the tires and an alignment issue caused the inner half of front tires needed replacement. I was only in Boulder for a day. Mitchell was able to get the tires the same day, install, and align. Excellent and fast service. Thanks

They charged $35 for tire repair after purchasing tires there for decades. I guess the new ownership is shot sighted and wants to drive away future sales

I was told at Boulder Nissan my tire was un-patchable and needed to be replaced. Brought the car here and got the tire patched in under an hour! Super friendly staff and quick service for a walk in! Highly recommend checking them out if you have tire problems!
