The photos make it feel like it is a newer facility. It's not. Service was very attentive to a clogged sink. Beds are due to be replaced, heavily sunken in the middle of both of the beds in our room. Hot tub not in working order but could be used as a 'soaking tub' The game room was great along with the motif inside the rooms. The price was right.

Had a fantastic couple of nights at Basecamp Boulder. We felt so looked after, particularly by Jon, who was very friendly and welcoming. The hot tub and sauna were great, the communal area with the climbing wall was cool, and the location was perfect!

What a gem. Pet policy was excellent. Staff was very helpful, with zero communication barriers. So refreshing. The cafe and recreational facilities were so nice to have. They put the Superbowl on their projector screen for us and our friends. Thank you for the positive experience!

Walking distance to Pearl street. Only a bit farther to some amazing hiking trains! I kept my car parked there most nights and walked downtown for dinner. Sauna and hot tubs were a dream along with fire pits for the cold winter months. Fast WiFi, rock climbing wall, peloton bikes, coffee/tea/espresso in the morning. Thank you to John! He was an amazing help and provided lots of advice and good conversation. I felt right at home!

Our stay here was not very good. Although the staff was so nice and helpful - I think Melina was the person’s name who was working -we asked to switch rooms because our TV did not work and there were other issues. It sounded like TV’s not working in some rooms could be a regular issue, but I’m not sure. In the first room, it was a little dirty and there were stains on the ceiling. The kitchenette cabinets seemed like they needed painting and there were red stains on the front door. In the 2nd room, the trim was banged up in the bathroom, the heater was temperamental, and the bathroom didn’t seem super clean, but overall it was better. The worst part was that we had trouble sleeping all night because we could hear everything from above us and next door, even if guests were talking quietly. It was just super loud the entire night. There are things that could be done here pretty easily to bring it up a few notches, including making sure rooms are super clean and all handyman items are fixed, adding sound-proofing in between floors, making sure all tv’s work, etc. Great location and nice main lobby area which I felt was the cutest part of the whole area.

This is most definitely not anywhere near a “3 star hotel”. It is a badly refurbished motel. Like many people, I’ve lost hope in decent air bnbs, and a friend and I decided to book this space instead. We were so excited but honestly very disappointed. (Before I get into it, the staff at Basecamp are very nice and friendly, I would (and did) give them five stars). However, the room was dismal. It was the same temp inside our room as it was outside when we arrived (freezing). There’s only an old rickety wall unit that did not sound promising when we turned it on, but after an hour or so our room was finally warm-ish. It’s very loud so don’t plan on sleeping with it on. Pro tip for winter travel: ask for additional comforters. Anyway, There was a literal hole in the wall. The bed is uncomfortable and saggy, the door lacked any weatherstripping so the snow was blowing inside all night, so our floor (cold, grey laminate) had a huge puddle. The room lighting is that bright sterile cool-white lightbulbs, which makes you feel like you’re in an asylum. The bathtub had all these nasty stains on it. All the fixtures were cheesy and looking like a bad DIY job. I was truly so hopeful that the amenities would balance out how awful the room was, but no dice. the “rock wall” is super short and would take any average adult three seconds to climb. The hot tub and the sauna were fine, thankfully- but nothing to write home about. (Also, a creepy man kept “happening” to show up right when we were about to get in the hot tub - not basecamp’s fault, but it would be nice if there weren’t giant windows facing towards all the rooms)We wanted to stay at a clean, laid back, hip spot- we didn’t want or need any of the luxuries, but truly this was not worth the price. I originally thought the price was fine, but then I realized that we actually could’ve stayed at the luxury Hotel Boulderado for only a few dollars more per night. You can only imagine the gasp that escaped me when I saw the comparable prices ? I hope it’s because the staff is making fair wages with full benefits.Anyway, this is a spot you might stay for ONE night as a stop through if absolutely necessary. I truly wouldn’t recommend any more than that. (Side note - all these 5 star reviews are suss…definitely oversold and under delivered. Is the business plan to lure people in for one stay and never come back?) ok I’m done. Yikes. Bye.

Stayed here with our family. The mattress was quite cheap & saggy. We didn’t really get to do what we mainly needed to do…sleep

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and LOVED it. We are both rock climbers so we immediately got on the bouldering wall and the staff member, Koda I believe was his name, offered to take a picture of us and was so nice. Every staff member we encountered was great. The fire pits are awesome and cozy to hang out at, the indoor hot tub was so amazing, we loved that there were local brews on tap, and the room was so cool. Great location as well. If you want to be comfy and like adventure and a fun, unique hotel this is the place to go!

This motel was in a great location. The rooms are very Boulder-kitsch. The rooms were spacious, beds were clean and lobby had cookies ready at check in. My only complaint is the parking lot. It was a tight fit.

Recently stayed here as part of my honeymoon. The location was amazing right by the University of Colorado. The amenities were great between the bar, hot tub, outdoor fire pits, and bouldering wall were awesome. Staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend!

As a personal review and not business review, i really enjoyed this spot. The staff was on point and the facility was clean and well presented. The decor is very comfortable and travel friendly. They have quite a few amenities for a smaller location, which makes it nice. A great little spot for local Boulder. On the competitve scale with big corps, always room for improvement. I appreciate the service and availability at this. Very fitting basecamp for the traveler or passerthrough. The room i had felt like home. Simple yet mountain artsy. The hot water works in the shower too. Always a plus. I been a ton of places that the hot water is messed up.

Stayed here while returning to Boulder for a football game. Location was great for us. All of the staff was wonderful - especially Koda who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful - not only attentive to our hotel needs but also made several suggestions to make our weekend even better. Koda's attentive service rivaled/surpassed 5-star stays we have had - a keeper! Thx to the team for the great weekend in Boulder! ?
