Over the years there have been good places in Boulder with knowledgeable staff to help one find the right hiking/running shoes. This business itself has undergone changes like being bought out-- but my recent experience there was excellent. They analyzed my gait and feet with technology and gave me several viable suggestions. Let me take my time and really listened to my concerns.

Great store and staff. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had a few problems going on with my feet that needed to be addressed. He got me set up with the perfect shoes and insoles.

This place has gone way downhill since being bought out by Fleet Feet, it is not the same as the old Boulder Running company. Poor customer service

Stopped into Fleet Feet Boulder today just hoping to find a good pair of running shoes—walked out totally in love with my new On Cloud Runners and blown away by the experience.
Derek (aka the “shoe whisperer”) was amazing. He really listened, asked thoughtful questions, and guided me to the perfect fit like he’s been training for it his whole life. No pressure, no rush—just genuine care and expert knowledge. I felt like I was in great hands the entire time.
It’s rare to find customer service that feels this personal and spot-on. I left the store excited, confident, and ready to hit the road. Highly recommend Fleet Feet Boulder—and especially Derek—for anyone serious about comfort, support, and a stellar experience.
