We hosted our wedding at the Boulder Theater in August and it was the most unique and incredible venue we could have ever imagined. Our guests were shocked from the moment they say our personal message on the outside marquee to the art deco colors of the theater to the overall vibe and authenticity. The BT staff were nothing short of amazing! Kaitlin Hottovy was our onsite contact and she ensured everything went perfectly - including helping my husband with his bow tie :) Between Kaitlin, the AV team, the bartenders (Who created custom cocktails/mocktails for us) all the way to the team responsible for the marquee and of course the security/front of house staff who welcomed our guests at will call...it was all a dream come true. If you're looking for an out of the box venue for your special day, BT is hands down the pick for you.

Worst show I've ever been to. It was like they let a kindergartner at the sound and lights. Bass blew out the speakers and drowned literally everything else out and progressively through the show they aimed the lights right into the audience eyes more and more until it was outright blinding the entire time. Took a show I was really excited for and ruined it entirely

Bruce Cockburn at the Boulder Theater. He’s in his 80’s and still going strong!

Came here for the Chris Fleming show. The staff was incredible. Security at this venue is on point and it's obviously very well managed.

Yesterday, we attended a captivating flamenco show at Boulder Theater. While the performance was fantastic, the theater left much to be desired. The lack of elevation in the seating area made it challenging to see the stage, forcing me to constantly bend my head for a glimpse. The aging appearance and unpleasant odor hinted at the need for renovation; with some refurbishment, this venue could truly become a stunning theater.

I will change my review once I go see the show I bought tickets for but currently couldn't be more disappointed. The website showed the hours of operation and I went during the time. When I showed up the box office was closed due to a weekend event. Didn't show the box office was closed. When I walked up to the front the man there was not helpful at all. Said I could buy tickets online or come back in a bit because someone with the box office should show up at some point. I ended up grabbing some food while waiting. When I went back a different man was there from the box office. He told me to just buy the tickets online because I still have to pay a service fee. And buying at the box office only allows the venue to keep the service fee. Is it just me or would everyone else prefer the area you live in to benefit off service fees and not some big conglomerate. Then the guy suggested that I go over to Fox theater and get the tickets. I was like. That's awesome! I'll just run over there. The whole time. I was talking with this man. There were four ladies standing in the box office who kept looking at me and laughing. Super unprofessional, especially during such a frustrating experience. I left, went to Fox, got the tickets and had the best experience ever. I wish the show was being played at the fox theater, not Boulder, but I'm excited to see if the acoustics in the sound are on point.

I left my hoody on the rail two weeks ago. I had given up it had been lost forever, but Victoria from the Box Office was able to confirm its whereabouts and made sure to stash it in a safe keeper spot.Nothing but love for her and the Boulder music scene!

I went for Shakedown Street and Lewis Black. Both were great shows! The seats for Lewis Black were super uncomfortable. And my back was killing me by the end of the show. If you can, sit in the balcony. The seats are much more comfortable.

Came for Skinny Limbs and left with thicc limbs.Lol, first time here and the crowd was filled with a bunch of X filled hands, dudes rapping to the beat, a dance floor packed like a can of sardines, and ground scored left and right!4.20 out of 5.00 for sure. Would definitely go back there and get there early for a rail spot on the level right above the dance floor connecting to the rail. Other than that. Security is chill, standard free earplugs at the bar, and a nice re-entry policy for 21+!

Boulder Theater is ALWAYS a pleasure. Crisp, clear sound, bass with a full body and a light show that never disappoints. The staff is friendly and sets a cool, but no-nonsense vibe that inspires responsible fun, with peak safety being observed. The decor is a bright amd cheerful art Deco that lends Boulder pizazz to an otherwise fairly stoic architectural style. I think the only complaint I could possibly have is the angled toilet in the ladies room. It takes up space and doesn'tmake the line any less long. Since there is no room to stand and wait, people will hold open the door (my bare bottom was a little chilly and I don't think men need to see into the ladies loo, thanks).

Have always adored this venue - absolutely beautiful old architecture and art (look up at the ceiling!) and a very friendly atmosphere. I imagine your enjoyment might vary based on what kind of show you see, but the theater itself, the management, and the employees are really top notch. (shoutout to the very good-natured employee I talked to on the phone last week! ✨)Oh, and the seats are still really good from the balcony! I might even like them better. ?

Great time seeing Rachel Maddow last night. Great venue with a full bar- although they did not have ingredients to make a Bloody Mary-shameful. I could hear and see the stage. There is food at a shop next door. I enjoyed a tasty margarita. The temperature was good and the bathrooms were clean. There was wheelchair access and places for people with disabilities to sit and enjoy the show. Get some Bloody Mary mix and I will be back soon!!

Great venue! Beautiful on the inside and out. Plenty of room, wasn't too hot or anything and the bartenders were really nice
