Thank you for retiring the torn flags. Many kudos to all that made that happen.

I don’t understand how this venue doesn’t have five stars or 4.9. This is my favorite auditorium/ venue outright. I even like it better than Red Rocks. Maybe my experience was influence by seeing the best violinist — a fellow Deutsche guy — perform, hitting it out of the park. The crowd is classic Boulder: very enjoyable, kind, wise, and hippyish crowd. Can’t wait to go back.

Went to see Al Di Meola. The acoustics were not the best. The low end tended to saturate the auditorium to the point where you couldn't make out Al's guitar at times. The price was right, and it was good to see AL doing well. The volunteers were extremely helpful and friendly. Take note; the auditorium is basically subject to the temperatures that are outside as it is not heated or air conditioned.

I went to two concerts at Chautauqua this season: Tommy Emmanuel and Al Di Meola. Sound was not great during the first show and outright poor during the second one. It felt like PA was overloaded, guitar and keyboards were mixed into a sound porridge where you couldn't make out what either musician played. Kind of botched the introduction into Al Di Meola for me. Surprised a lot of people are noting good acoustics - I could only hear Al Di Meola's guitar after we left the building towards the end of the show - it sounded way better outside the Auditorium than inside. Other than the sound, it's a fine venue, but I don't think I will go for another rock show there.

Amazing venue. Staff were great, acoustics and intimacy of the venue were really hard to beat. We caught Ryan Adams solo and it was such a great venue for it.

Good acoustics but we bought an “A” row ticket which was expensive on the aftermarket and Chautauqa put another row of chairs in front of us so we were not in the front row! Then some very tall people sat in front of us. So we would have had better stage visibility if we were in the second row or further back. This made me feel cheated of course. Otherwise the venue was good.

The Chautauqua Auditorium, is one of my all-time, favorite venues for music, under 2 K attendance. Great acoustics, comfortable seats, plenty of legroom (I'm a big 6'2"), cup holders, on back of seats. Beautiful atmospherics, location wise.... As for drawbacks, parking is certainly one, if not only drawback. Getting to this location early, is key.... The audience, is incredibly polite, to the musicians and to those of us, who want to hear the music....

A great venue for any concert. Beautiful grounds and the hop 2 shuttle makes it easy getting to and from free parking

Such a legendary venue, with lots of history. But be warned that if you don't sit directly in front of the speakers, the audio quality is poor. It's essentially a big echoey wooden barn. But the staff is incredibly gracious and kind and you should definitely check it out.
