Nearby activities: Nice park, albeit quite busy. Plenty of room to walk a dog and enjoy some sunshine. Beautiful gardens in some areas. Picnic tables. Did get a surprise when we nearly stepped on a snake!

Fabulous place with great staff. The main attraction is close to all the major hiking trails. It's like an old settlement where all the cabins have been seriously modernized. The restaurant is to notch with modern dishes. The auditorium is perfect for business meetings, with seating along the top edge! Now I know you don't come here to be on your phone or computer but everyone is connected. The cell service and wifi here is weak. The ground are immaculate and if you like a bit of sports there is pickleball. Expensive to stay but worth it.

Fine. Pretty pricey but paying for location. Cabins are fairly up to date. Construction and absolutely ZERO shows/events/etc the week we were there should’ve led to a discount, but didn’t

I stayed here for a work trip and had a lovely experience. My only issue was my room had no blinds the night I checked in. However, when I made them aware of the issue the next morning, my blinds were up by lunch. The cabin I stayed in is newly renovated which probably explains the blinds issue but it was so nice. We were also surprised with snow for the last two days which was the cherry on top.

Absolutely love staying here! It's a little paradise and a blast of history. The restaurant is amazing, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. My first two days I didn't leave the campus at all. When I did leave, the rest of Boulder felt like culture shock. I highly recommend staying at Chautauqua. It's a beautiful experience.
Rooms: Cozy, everything I needed, quaint.
Walkability: Hiking is right out the door. Can easily walk down to Pearl Street.
Food & drinks: Great selection. Thoughtfully prepared. Delicious!

Beautiful location at base of the Flatirons. Easy access to great hiking, nice walk to Pearl Street restaurants. Cottages are good deal for families or small groups.

Boulder's best hiking spot! Lots of trails, nice rangers, kid's park, events, etc.Fees: Parking fees during the dayPublic Transportation: There is a special shuttle that runs in the summer time from a few locations (Park-to-Park free shuttle).

I had a wonderful stay. Lovely cottage and access to hiking trails really cannot be beat. The staff were very sweet. I found checkin a bit confusing, but once I found the right building it was a breeze. Absolutely recommend for something different for a stay in Boulder!

Amazing food, slow service. Arrived at 2:30 and was sat at 7:15.

Beautiful park with tons of hiking options! We did the flatirons loops, bluebell, McClintock/Enchanted Mesa. I would recommend flatirons loop most and McClintock for busy days (not too many people there on a beautiful Sunday and it is also much shadier).Make sure to have your AllTrails app ready - lots of crisscrossing paths. If you are from lower elevation take it slow and hydrate!

Pull out queen bed had OLD DIRTY sheets and blanket rolled in middle of bed.
Mattress has NO SUPPORT, springs poking my shoulders, back, knees and kidney. I tried to sleep in the wicker chair from 1130 to 2am. Then back to mattress, so tired to sleep a little, managed to sleep 2-519am. Back to the wicker chair.
Bathroom sink can't drain easily the pull up stem locked in place.
Turn on the hot water, it takes awhile, the quick heat unit comes on and the 1 light of 2 light unit flickers.
Banisters on outside walkup rotted wood.
Not enough towels for 4 person stay.
I do NOT RECOMMEND this facility!
$360+ a night NIT WORTH IT!

Our sweet cottage was immaculately clean upon arrival. It's a perfect combination of antique and modern. We will come back!

Showers take a long time for the water to heat up, multiple outlets throughout the cottage don’t work, and the wifi is pretty poor unless you're on late at night or very early. Made getting work done or streaming pretty hard. The location is great though, and the cabins are nice and cozy. Beautiful scenery, a great general store/coffee shop and restaurant nearby.
Edited my review because I was pretty frustrated with the internet when I posted originally
