My company worked with Colorado Mountain Ranch for the first time for a wedding in October. It's a really pretty mountain venue that feels so homey and comfortable! With multiple spaces it makes for a great wedding day venue. Lynn, the venue manager was so fantastic to work with. She went above and beyond to create a great day for the couple, and I cannot express how much I appreciated her communication! Their on site staff, full kitchen and shuttles are such a bonus and helped the day run so smooth! The couple loved it here, it couldn't of been better!

My daughters have gone there every year (except the Covid year) since they were 7 -- they're 17 now. For one of my kids especially, it is probably her favorite place in the world and the source of the best memories of her childhood.

I came here as a kid and loved it a lot. Some of best memories from when I was younger. My brother and I made so many friends and there was so many fun things to do. Amazing counselors and amazing owner... I wish I could remember the peoples’ names but I can’t... all I know is that it’s beautiful up there. Times of my life!

We had the pleasure of having our September wedding at The Colorado Mountain Ranch. Our experience was nothing short of fabulous. From the beginning Gail and Lynn made the entire booking and planning process a breeze. We opted for the Blue Spruce package which included use of the outdoor Amphitheater overlooking Longs Peak for the ceremony and the classic Ponderosa Log Lodge for the reception. A Bridal and Groom's Suite was also available. The ranch even sets up a ceremony site inside at the top of the lodge should the weather take a turn. Not only is the space simply gorgeous but the team is so accommodating. I didn’t feel the need to do too much decorating as the lodge and outdoor amphitheater truly are lovely on their own. The lodge recently made upgrades inside and out, most notably the large porch w/ phenomenal panoramic views which made a perfect spot for our guests to enjoy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and live music. Tables and benches were provided as well as tables for gifts, favors, the wedding cake, the buffet and hors d'oeuvres. The ranch worked directly with our vendors answering questions and giving direction. Because the planning process was so smooth, the actual day of our wedding, I was so relaxed, because I had full faith in the Colorado Mountain Ranch. The Walker’s are dedicated to seeing that everyone has a great time and falls in love with their home! Friends and family are still talking about love and positive energy that was felt at The Colorado Mountain Ranch! Thank you for the most unique wedding experience. We will never forget our magical day! We are so grateful! xo, The McLaren's

My husband and I got married at the Colorado Mountain Ranch one week ago and we cannot stop talking about how magical and amazing our day was! From the first time we set foot on the Colorado Mountain Ranch’s property we were in love! The energy of this place is tangible. A little over a year before our wedding day, Josie gave us a tour of the property and shared a little bit of the family history with us. I instantly connected with Josie and her loving spirit and contagious energy. We were lucky enough that the Walker Family agreed to host us and all of our family and friends for our big day! We cannot thank them enough! The entire Walker Family and their staff made us feel welcome from the day we first met them. They were super responsive to all of our questions and inquiries about our big day and had us and our families up multiple times before the wedding day to walk around the venue and reconnect with it.Gail became our main point of contact as the wedding drew closer, helping us plan our big day, recommending vendors and giving advice when we asked for it. She shared a lot of the Ranch’s history with us when we came to visit this past March and my husband and I really appreciated her openness and getting to know more about beautiful Ranch and the Walker family. On our wedding day, the Ranch had the most wonderful and helpful staff on hand! Maddy was the most visible of the staff and was so helpful to all of our vendors, day-of-coordinator, family and friends. I met her a few times over the course of the night and I was so grateful for all of her hard work and kindness. At the end of the night, the entire staff helped us clean up and get everything back in order. They were all absolutely amazing! One of their staff members even rescued us from the side of the road when our shuttle bus broke down taking us back down the mountain after the wedding. He squeezed eight of us in his truck, no questions asked and graciously gave us a ride. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness to us on our wedding night! (Advice: use the Colorado Mountain Ranch’s shuttles!!)We received so many compliments from all of our guests for our breathtaking choice of venue. We want to extend our most genuine and sincere thank you to all of the Walker Family and Colorado Mountain Ranch Staff for hosting us and allowing us to have the most amazing venue for our wedding day! You guys will always have a very special place in our hearts.

I worked at the Ranch during the summer of 2011, as a counselor and ranch hand. It was the summer of a lifetime. The business is family-owned and operated, with Western hospitality that is hard to find these days. Located in the perfect location (just up the road from Boulder, but also nestled just below the Continental Divide) the Ranch has it all. I would highly recommend it for a summer camp experience, for a corporate retreat or family adventure, or for a wedding, Bar Mitzvah, or other party / celebration. Whenever you visit the Ranch, you are welcomed into the American West, where the spirit of family-owned, pure hospitality lives on.

I want to come back and live here. My experiences at Colorado Mountain Ranch are some of my best memories: Riding horses, building forts, shooting arrows and BB guns, looking for pyrite, playing Capture the Flag, climbing trees, in one of the most beautiful places in the world! I am in the film industry now and I would really like to film a movie here to capture the awesome nature! The staff are all really awesome, and I just can't say enough how beautiful it is there.

This summer, 2013, will be my 6th summer on staff at the Colorado Mountain Ranch. It is no wonder that many staff such as myself return to work year after year. The Ranch is family run and caters to the individual needs of each child that comes to Camp. The Ranch promotes respect for nature and all living things and gives both campers and staff a strong sense of community and belonging. Both traditional and innovative programming for children are offered. It was especially evident after the 2010 Fourmile Fire just how many lives the Ranch had touched, when literally hundreds and thousands of families, staff, and alumni banded together to rebuild and breathe new life into the Ranch, making it even bigger and better today. If you ever get the chance to send your child to camp, work on staff, or hold your wedding or other event at the Ranch, I know you won't regret it!
