Very frustrating and expensive. We were business clients who suffered an internal fraud. Eide recommended we contact an in-house person who would fashion our complaint to the police in a way they would understand and act on. $3,500 later, nothing. They also gave us a list of three private investigators to work with. We selected one and $13,000 and more than a year later we have yet to have gotten a final report. We got only the sketchiest information. Finally, as they decided we were no longer client material we were able to find a replacement. Eide wanted to charge our new accountant to access our files electronically. The vast majority of my reviews have been positive. I am very disappointed to have to write this one.

We had such a bad experience with our 2019 taxes, I still can’t forget it. Our paperwork was lost, then late to be submitted by months. To top it off Eide Bailey charged us an additional late fee. It was an absolute nightmare.

I think Eide Bailly is great. I moved my tax work to them a few years ago from another firm with whom I had worked for many years, but which had become sloppy. Everyone I work with at Eide Bally is smart, careful, thorough, helpful, and prompt. Friendly, too.

03/17/2018 - We are very disappointed in the customer service at Eide Bailly. We had paid them to do our taxes for five years. The final year, the cost of our tax preparation increased 35% despite our taxes not having materially changed. It was the first year we had filed an extension, but they had assured us this would not result in any additional fees. We were not informed of the increase until we received our invoice after our tax preparation. Our requests for explanation were repeatedly ignored, even when brought to the attention of a Partner. 05/16/2018 - Two months later and still no follow up from Eide Bailly, despite their comment saying "We value our clients, and we'll make this right."
