Great experience with Keith at Elevations today. Reviewed several short term investments products. Keith did a good job explaining the + - of each product and quickly implemented the options we decided on.

Please for the love of god, reconfigure your ATMs to make noise to remind you to take your card. And make sure the card printers in house are able to print new cards

I have been a long-time customer of Elevations Credit Union, maintaining several accounts for myself and my family members. We went to them initially as they were selected as the HSA provider for my long-time employer. Over recent years however, I've noticed that their HSA services were minimal - particularly in comparison to another bank my employer switched to for HSA services. Despite this switch over, maybe due to the fact that we already had a bunch of HSA checks printed (they are not free), we kept using Elevations to pay our HSA-related expenses. In fact, for the last several years, I've continued to move money from the new HSA bank to Elevations. Well I'm ready to consider a change. I submitted my most recent money transfer request over 10 business days ago, using the correct form provided by Elevations (one that has worked perfectly well over the last few recent transfers), and using Elevations secure mail system. I have yet to even get a confirmation that they are working on it, that there are no issues, or that it might take some time to process. I sent a second secure email after the first week, asking if there was some problem, or if this delay was usual, but I've received no response to that request. I will likely call them tomorrow. But I'm equally likely to stop delaying the inevitable. I will probably drain the Elevations HSA and begin only using the new bank's services. Please set your expectations appropriately if you are considering using Elevations for HSA services. And Happy New Year!

They make it impossible to sign up for account alerts if you overdraft, the banker can't do it and it must only work from a computer because it won't let me do it from my phone. They rejected a check from my grandma because she accidentally postdated it December 2024 which Chase would never do so I just don't deposit anything in my account here unless it's from my other account anymore. In addition, when I found out about this because I didn't get alerted that it wasn't accepted, when I deposited a check from my other account to cover it they put a hold on it for 4 days. So I'll definitely never use this bank again for anything except a car loan.

I have banked here for years. I came to them after a bad experience with Chase. I even had my child and mother join. Well recently they updated to got a new system for their transactions. Before this system I was able to set up my payments for bills to come out on the day of payday no Issues. Paycheck hit and about 8 am to 9 am they would release the bills. Now with the new system I am able to see my paycheck earlier (up to 3 days), but they also post some bills earlier causing a NSF fee. They do not see the issue with this. They state it is real time. However, if it is real time, if I go to Walmart and over draw they give me like a hour or two to make it right. Why not the same courtesy with my paycheck. Do not bank here. I am moving my funds.

PLEASE stay away from this bank, it has cost me more time and money than I thought I would ever even spend here.Moved every dime to firstbank this morning.Horrendous, horrendous banking experience at elevations. It's honestly appalling to me how poorly the bank is run. Since they've switched to the new app/online system (same as before just different UI), 80% of the time I log in my account becomes locked and I have to reset my password, even when I enter the correct password.Prior to the new online system, I've had quite literally countless experiences where elevations has not allowed me to spend the money in my account. Automatic bill payments (that have worked for months or YEARS) are declined, spending limits are imposed on my cards and altered constantly without my approval or even awareness.I've called THREE times now when attempting to make a purchase on two separate cards, twice the employees kept me on hold, telling me they were looking into it, for 20-40 minutes until the "cards department" was closed, then told me I was out of luck until the next day. The other time, the employee told me my limit had been changed to allow the purchase, I re-attempted the purchase and my card was locked for attempting to surpass the limit. No I could not unlock the card, I needed to wait for them to send me a new one, which of course took forever.PLEASE stay away from this bank, it has cost me more time and money than I thought I would ever even spend here. Not to mention my brother's encountered fraud with his account 3 times now.

Worst. Banked with them for over 50 years. In recent years they are horrible. Do not bank with them.

This bank has ruined my life. I am a single mom who was injured (and was not given any justice, no compensation) and is waiting out for disability. I was relying on using my tax return to pay for rent and utilities while I wait to get approved for disability. I showed up at the bank and asked if they knew why I had not received my tax return yet. They told me it was actually pending to be deposited the next day. I signed a sign of relief as I was flat broke. Well, the next day it was never deposited. I go back to the bank (because calling always results in a half an hour or longer wait), and they tell me my tax return was sent back to the IRS. They said I put the wrong account number down. And I ask how that could be when I copied and pasted my account number very carefully from my online checking account, from their website? And how could that be when the teller saw it pending the day prior? They said it was my old bank account that I closed after fraud activity. On their end, no one updated my new checking account number into the online banking. To make matters worse, a month ago I went to complain in person to a branch manager who insisted they did not even have an account of the IRS check after looking for about 15 minutes on the computer? A couple weeks ago I cancelled my checking card, and I received a new one at the Boulder branch due to being charged by an auto payment that I had repeatedly cancelled. I went to the Longmont branch two days later to cash a check I received to help pay my rent. I was short $150 due to a pending Amazon renewal that was signed up with my old card number. Gratefully they did cancel the pending charge so I could pay my rent but they had no recollection of my new card at this branch, only my card? How is that even possible? I think this bank has poor communication between branches and just overall systemic issues. Unfortunately there mistakes has led to us getting evicted and are utilities being turned off. There is not much help nowadays for families in our situation. I really needed that tax refund. Now the IRS says they do not even have it and to contact the bank? It is a mess. I do not know if I will ever get my tax return at this point. I do not even know if we will survive. Due to my illness/injury we cannot stay in shelters. This bank royally screwed us with their mistake.

Excellent and personable service! I can say that having learned the local founders story and their current achievements in nonprofit community service, which is on display in the lobby of the main branch, has really earned my trust. Also my loan was completed in under an hour, thank you Diane Sawyer! Very grateful to be a part of sustainable and efficient values.

I took my lunch hour to go to Boulder branch to clear up their P2P issue and update information and so as to not incur any more late fees. Sat with rep and THOUGHT I did that but got another Reminder Notice a month later so this was not so. These morons just want to $15 late fee their customers to death.

Derek and Bobbie are amazing. I'm with a different credit union and use Elevations as my shared branch. I tried to deposit a check that my boyfriend had signed over to me from his boss. A couple hours later I find out through my bank that they don't accept 3rd party checks. This would have caused the check to be denied and a whole lot of other problems. I went back to Elevations and they managed to cancel the transaction on both ends and I got the check back. Thank you so much to the front desk person, (I didn't get her name)Derek and Bobbie!

I’ve been unable to access my account because the new digital platform they implemented kicks you off repeatedly, so you have to reset the password or call in over and over again. I’ve gotten very disrespectful and rude customer service people that try to tell me the same excuse over and over again, that there’s a new app or a new banking system and that it’s no big deal. I remember when this place didn’t feel like they could barely wait to hang up the phone to start talking trash about customers. Um, I can hear you. And I’m not psychic, how would I know you got a new platform that keeps glitching and freezing my account for putting in the “wrong” password?Check out other bad reviews on here from Jackson C, for example. I’m guessing that some high up board member pushed through this change without adequately assessing whether it was a good fit, and has instructed customer service staff at elevations to talk down to members for being bothered they can’t access their money or their account.Like with all the one star reviews, I’m sure that there will be a copy and paste response that tells me that my business matters, and that I should email my concerns to an email address. But I’m so accustomed to a dismissive response, or a response where the employees act like you’re an idiot for not knowing the details of their own back end programming on their app, that I don’t want to. I was also told that no one else was bothered or had the same problems with it that I did, even though I’m reading people had serious problems online.I would recommend that you go to Wells Fargo or Chase or anywhere else that can provide competent service. At this point, this bank just creates hassle in my life around basic things like just wanting to even see the past history of my account. This place has the greed of the big banks, without the competence. You can’t use the atm at different times, and your account can just be randomly frozen even if you tell them you’re going out of town. At the small business division, the guy I talked to literally told me that they don’t serve small businesses well and that I should open an account elsewhere. This seemed like a good idea when I thought I would find a credit union that had more heart than the big banks. But they’ve changed, they don’t care about their customers anymore. It’s a shame, this place used to be great!

I've had my business account with them for 13 yrs now. they changed their platform so many times and now, the new 'upgrade' doesn't work with QBO. i have to download my transactions and manually do coding. for a CPA practice this is unacceptable. When i was on the chat, the rep was basically like 'we sent you something saying this was going to happen now tough crap..' I'm super unhappy and now trying to figure out where to move my business to. I've recommended Elevations CU for so many years but no more. Their app is constantly having issues to where I couldn't make mobile deposits or even get online. Like tonight for instance, I can't even access my account. Oh - and once on a business trip they cut off my card without even a call. When i did call, the rep in India told me there was nothing I could do!
