Lease is heavily management based, and does not protect tenants in any way! Asking for communication or any kind of clarity is almost impossible, and staff is extremely rude, if they decide to even pick up a phone at all when you call.

The handyman I interacted with was great and timely. However, the move out fees they’ll take from your security deposit are exorbitant (for instance, they charged me $80 to replace a lightbulb and stove pans, in addition to the cost of those items, since they charge a minimum 1hr fee for someone to do any repairs post move-out). They also charge the tenant every year for new locks. So be weary when it comes to moving out and request a walk through so you don’t get surprise charges.

Overall great experience living here. They made very fair renewal offers, little to no additional monthly fee costs, and maintenance was really quick for being off-site. There were a few hiccups we had along the way, but nothing out of the ordinary for a renters experience. Our unit was also nice and easy to maintain.

Klarissa, Nitta and Max are very good at their job. My recommendation, ask all the questions you have.

Renting from Fowler has been a wonderful, stress-free experience! From the start, their leasing team was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had. Their maintenance team has also been very responsive when my garbage disposal was leaking. Overall, one of the best companies I've rented from.

We rented an apartment from Fowler for our son and the folks at Fowler were super flexible and understanding as he went through some really difficult times. They were competent reasonable and compassionate and willing to work with us. Highly recommend!

I'm starting my 2nd lease with Fowler and have loved working with them! Nita is an absolute gem that has been the best point of contact, very easy to communicate with. Robert the maintenance man is always spot on when things need fixed. All the other people ive dealt with have been very kind as well.

Nita at Fowler Property Management has been incredibly helpful to me during a very stressful housing transition. I could not be more pleased with her work. Thank you so much!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to brag on Fowler! Blake made sure everything was handled smoothly, and his attention to detail was outstanding! Maegan is so knowledgeable and made this a stress free experience for my family.

The employees at Fowler Property Management led my two roommates and myself on to believe that we had successfully applied for and would receive a short term lease for the summer 2021. This was a lie.
We were promised that they would process our Thursday applications the following Monday. When that date came and passed, I called on Tuesday and was told 24-48 more hours. When Thursday passed, I called again Friday and was told that they were already in the process of leasing to another person - something we had no information on until this point - and were promised a callback on Monday, which never happened.
I am writing to let anyone who is considering a lease from this place that:
1) Fowler Property Management lies about availability so that they can fill leases
2) Communication is terrible, and they will lie through their teeth to you
3) Fowler obviously cares more about the bottom line then their customers
Do not expect much from these people.

Sadly, the property management industry is littered with bad actors. They are as bad as it gets. The office personnel is about as competent as... well you get the picture. Most students, if they want housing, have no choice but to sign leases with these bad actors. Word of advice to a future tenant, set your expectations REALLY low, know they will grossly over charge you and when you move out they will fabricate deductions when you move out. P.S. Don't believe the positive reviews.

Our unit was still so dirty when we moved in. I tried to talk to multiple people on their team about it and they were incredibly condescending. I hope we have minimal issues moving forward so that I don’t have to talk to their team again. I should have listened to more reviews before renting with them.

“I love my property management company!” Said no one ever. All of these companies survive by screwing people - out of app fees, deposits, and by never maintaining things in working, livable order. Fowler is particularly nefarious in their methods. Just look at these reviews! Our neighbors were repeatedly denied maintenance in their rental which was also totally filthy when they moved in. After several attempts to be treated fairly they just broke their lease and left. Avoid their troubles and stay away from FOWLER!

I set up a tour that was cancelled via text 10 minutes after the scheduled time. I was waiting at the property at the time I received the text. It took me 1.5 hours to commute from work to see the property. This company will waste your time and money, and I suggest you look for housing elsewhere.
EDIT: Fowler property management has responded that they tried to reach me multiple times to notify me of the cancelled tour. I received an email at 8:34am asking to confirm my tour, which I responded to. They also sent a text at the same time asking to confirm the tour. The tour was at 4pm and I received a text at 4:10pm saying that the tour was cancelled due to the property being rented out already. I received no phone calls yesterday. So they will waste your time and then lie to you about it.

Great experience with management and maintenance. The Maintenance Coordinator is AMAZING!
