Special call out to Jason who went above and beyond to complete our generator service connection during a recent install. After getting called away during the day, he came back at 8:30pm to finish the job so install could complete the next morning! Thank you! Great customer service!

Great service. Staff is professional and friendly.I had attempted to get a propane refill at a different shop in Boulder earlier in today, and their attendant told me that my system was damaged and couldn't be filled -- which didn't seem correct. Sure enough, the employee at Fred's was able to fill it minutes, no problem.

Above and beyond expectations. Ray and his team have serviced this house for decades, and I greatly appreciate their professionalism. I recently had an issue where the propane wasn't getting to the house due to XCEL workers damaging something. Ray did not charge me for driving out and solving the issue, even though it probably cost him 90+ minutes.

Worst propane outfit in Colorado. Go elsewhere. Horribly run business. Their crew will steal from you & are abusive. Our delivery driver from Fred's was stealing propane from us & all the customers that are our neighbors. He would tell us our tank was leaking & each time he would make all his stops in our town with his home being the last house on his route. Guess where all the "leaky" propane that was missing from everyone's tank?? His huge tank at his home. The kicker is, this man is such an idiot, he overfilled his own tank at his own home that on the first warm day this spring (2022), the LP expanded s & blew his valve, literally!This stopped traffic in the canyon for a good while, our VFD was dispatched & this moron lost all his stolen propane! He was also verbally abusive to my spouse & yelled at her multiple times because our tank was supposed to be 10' or closer to the house. True, but only for new tanks added after a certain date. Use Polar Gas instead. They have been lovely & have lower rates.BEWARE- they pay folks for good reviews.

Good when you can actually get someone to fill up your tanks, but that's only about a one hour window, if they don't close early.

Definitely recommend getting your propane elsewhere. This company has awful customer support, is unreliable in filling up your tank and will increase prices with no warning frequently. I recently ran out of propane because Fred’s didn’t come refill as they were supposed to and when I called to let them know of this issue that has left my house without heat, hot water and no way to cook food they said they’d swing by the next day instead of coming and making right on their mess right then. If I wasn’t moving soon I would be switching companies ASAP. 0/5 stars for this awful company.

I wanted to go with Fred’s because they’re a local company but I’ve been going back and forth with them for 3 weeks, spoke to 3 people, always with the promise for them to call me back. Never got a call back.My tank is at 10% and they told me it’s essentially a waste of their time when I finally pushed for an answer now due to previous tenants in this home.

Wish I could give more stars because they are nice people but customer service has just been too bad multiple times, with multiple trips and a lot of wasted time to not leave a review. They don't seem to care about the individual customer side of the business, just the propane delivery side

We've been a customer for about 3 months now which has included 3 tank fill-ups, including yesterday. Once we were set up on the automatic plan with a credit card on file, the service has been great. They come by once per month and fill the tank. I don't have to be there and I don't have to do anything. Make sure to get onto the automatic plan or whatever they might call it.
