I came in the store the other day with some questions about a painting project I'm working on around the house and Spencer did an excellent job helping me out. He was very professional and went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with the products I was purchasing. Couldn't have done it without him thanks again Guiry's!!

Truly a gem of an art supply store! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, selection was excellent. Not a huge place physically, but depth and quality of selection is impressive.

This is the best place in the region for art supplies and paint. Don't bother going somewhere else, just go here.

The manager of the art department was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Her assistant, Luz, was kind and able to assist me with finding my supplies. I will drive to Denver rather than shop here in the future if the manager is working.

With all the glowing reviews about Guiry's art supply section, how has everyone not noticed that it's completely inaccessible to the physically handicapped??!! My husband and I drove from Loveland to Boulder after looking it up online. I'm in a wheelchair. Nowhere on their website does it say that it's inaccessible to wheelchairs. Why is everyone accepting this??!! I don't. This is discrimination, plain and simple. If I was gay or black, Hispanic, or part of any other disenfranchised group, this wouldn't be tolerated!!! But I'm a woman in a wheelchair. Why is it okay for me to be denied access??!! This is 2023!!! Look up their very many high-rent locations! They are NOT a small business, they're a chain! They can afford a small hydraulic lift! Wake up everyone!!! Don't passively accept this! I'm a working artist with a right to accessible supplies!! If I didn't live in Loveland, I'd be outside their store, protesting every single day. I'm asking all of you with a conscience to do it for me. This is completely unacceptable for this wealthy chain to not be ADA compliant!!!! And if they say they are, then the ADA didn't go far enough! WAKE UP and do something!! Address this!!!!Update: Yes, your staff did offer and did bring me things. But as anyone else would, I prefer to shop for myself! How would I know what to tell them to bring me if I can't see what you have??? I did hear from the COO. That location has an "exemption"! Seriously??!! Although he said he would start addressing this today, we'll see. Do other businesses have an "exemption" for serving minorities or the LGBTQIA community?? I'm part of a vast unheard and unseen minority but not for much longer. And as I said in my email, put the TRUTH on your website, let everyone know that your art supply section is NOT wheelchair accessible to save others a trip!!!!

I needed a gallon of paint for exterior house repair match, but i didnt have time to wait for a custom match. Carter found a color by eyeball. I bought a sample and took it home. It matched perfectly. I think there is a paint whisperer working at Guiry’s!

This place used to be good. Now the “designers” are “too busy answering emails” (an actual quote when I asked for help and she said flat out no) to answer any of your questions about color while you’re in the store. The paint mixers/paint pros—there are usually 4 behind the counter—are not really into helping customers, it seems. They’re kinda hanging out and if you ask them a question it’s pretty clear it’s an intrusion. I get it. This is probably not a dream job. Or maybe it is. I don’t know. But I really want this place to stay in business. It’s a small business that allows painters and other labor workers to do their jobs, and we need that in Boulder. We do not need another overpriced pretentious but mediocre restaurant or some ultra expensive clothes or outdoor gear shop. We NEED places like Guiry’s. Which is why I really hope they take things up a notch in terms of customer service and care and overall quality. Guiry’s means one less trip to Home Depot, and I like that. I hope to change this to a five star review soon.

the staff at guirys has been just amazingly patient and helpful. I've run painting companies on the east Coast and have over 35 years in the trades. the staff at guirys is top shelf. I've witnessed many many times homeowners comming in being over the top picky the staff clearly shared that old wall colors will allways show a touch up and the person tried to blame them for a bad mix. The guirys staff was correct in what they said. They suggested painting the one wall corner to corner that is what I would do. I give guirys an A1 status and the manager is prop of his new staff directing them in a very kind supportive tone of voice. Tom Duffy ICanHandyMan gurst contractor for Colorado House Hunters TV Show.

Walk in and there’s 3 guys behind the counter laughing huddled in the corner. Seems it was an inconvenience for them to help me. Needed a simple color match tester. They don’t do testers and told me I’d have to come back for him to match my color. I asked can’t you just scan my piece and mix me what I need. Guy was super rude and aggressive in his response. Magically of course they didn’t have any cheap quarts so he of course sold me the most expensive. This is why I stick to Sherwin Williams. Simple tasks are hard here.

I am so impressed with the staff! They are very knowledgeable in art supplies and watercolor paint colors specifically. I always need help and they always provide better-than-expected help. Guirys usually has every color that I'm looking for. If they don't have it, they tell me how to mix it.
