My son is new to Heatherwood and he loves it. I have never seen a school as concerned for its students as this one. We love it here, and I cant think of anything negative to say about it.

This is not so much a review of the school itself, but of the parents who drive their children to class every day. We live on Chatham Street, only a block from the school. Every year, I have to call the school to remind insensitive, reckless, and speeding parents, to drive prudently and with caution on our street. I am sure that if the roles were reversed, these same parents would insist that speeding drivers be ticketed. All we ask is that these parents remember that other children walk and bicycle to school, that elderly residents are walking, too, and we have pets and wildlife in our neighborhood also. Respect our street as you would expect yours to be respected, otherwise, there is no other recourse but to notify the Boulder County Sheriff.
