I’ve gone to this Labcorp location for 6 years for routine work. It’s fine, the staff have mostly been kind and pleasant, no complaints about them. However a word of caution. The past few times I went in for my routine labs, they have started telling me the estimated price for the services after insurance and asked if I would pay the estimated amount that day. Each of these times, I have instead had the services billed through insurance and thank goodness I have because the final bill I’ve had to pay to Labcorp is 3x less than the estimated price they asked if I would pay. So bottom line is it is better to bill through insurance just in case you can get a discount on their estimated price which of course is based on your own plan coverage.

I, too, was surprised at the lower reviews. I've used this location for several years, and the staff is always friendly, courteous, helpful, efficient, and professional. It is a very busy location, but it is clear to me that the staff tries very hard to accommodate the many visitors in an efficient and friendly manner.

I actually enjoy coming here to get my blood drawn. I always schedule an appointment and then get me in right on time and out of there lightening fast. The staff is always in such a good mood now matter how stressful the day is and its nice to see coworkers that actually care about one another.

The woman at the desk would not help me check in and was super rude acting like she didn't see me. I was experiencing serious anxiety and told her that I was. She did not care. She got on the phone instead. I got all of my things together and walked out. NO ONE WITH AN ATTITUDE LIKE THAT should be in that position. ONE STAR

I'm surprised to see this location gets lower ratings than the Longmont Labcorp. This Boulder location is a bit of a drive for me, but every time I have been there, they have been pleasant, helpful and efficient. They actually answer their phones when I call, unlike the Longmont Labcorp. I had an issue at the Longmont location today and got through to someone in Boulder who was very helpful. I know not every visit to a Labcorp is going to be efficient and great, but some tend to be better more consistently than others. This location has been great every time I have gone.

39 mins on hold for one simple question, that took less than 3 mins to answer. Too bad my portal wasnt updated correctly to show active orders... would have saved everyone time and effort.

Inefficient and Frustrating Billing Process
Labcorp’s billing system is incredibly outdated and frustrating to deal with. They do not store insurance information, so every time you have a test done, you must call them and provide your insurance details again — even if nothing has changed. It’s a completely manual process.
It’s even worse if you have secondary insurance. You have to wait for the primary insurance to process the claim, then call Labcorp back yourself to have them re-submit the bill to your secondary. There’s no automation or proactive communication — it’s all on you to follow up.
For a healthcare company of this size, this is unacceptable. Labcorp needs to modernize its billing systems and take responsibility for processing insurance more efficiently and transparently. Patients shouldn’t have to do all the work just to avoid being overbilled.

Jody and the team are the best! I have regular blood work requirements and not only are they prompt, professional, and courteous …I never feel the needle and the process is seamless. Appointments are the way to go and their such a great group!

I had to get some blood work real fast to send the results back to NC. The process was very quick and I believe it was a new type of order for the office and they handled it very well. Everyone was kind and helpful.
