Yesterday my sister my baby & we were at the self checkout and an employee kept yelling at us to go to the next self checkout computer, at first we looked at him puzzled because he was yelling at us and we had already scanned our three items, and even when i mentioned we had already scanned our items we just needed to pay he continued yelling at us to go to the next register. I was shocked and somewhat intimidated, i didn’t understand why he kept yelling and telling us to move. Not only that the rest of the employees acted like if nothing had happened and they continued to do what they were doing. It was pretty scary. I honestly don’t know if i would go back because it was very intimidating.

I don't understand the point of the self checkout if someone is right beside you telling you which buttons to push, as I'm pressing them. I know what I'm doing - just let me do it. She was very kind, but I didn't ask for help and didn't need any, and hovering over me made me uncomfortable.

100% aligned with the recent comment about framing. Disastrous experience. No communication. "We have 36 other framing issues, so let us refund you so it will be one less thing on our list". AVOID.

No one ever around to help you, force you into self checkout. Cashiers laugh at you while you juggle stuff out because they don’t offer bags. Don’t go here

Do NOT get something custom framed at this store!!! Worst framing experience ever. Disorganized, no communication and complete lack of customer service. Took over 3 months to get my project framed. Spend a little more and go to a local frame shop who cares about their customers.

We had a horrible experience at this store. They no longer have dedicated cashiers and cash registers. They have a self checkout they want you to use but nowhere to put your stuff after scanning. They want you to scan it all by holding it up to a window. So if you have a heavy or bulky item, good luck!!! They have a handheld scanner and the woman working came running up as I was using in on large items and yelled at us not to use it and said “this machine will shut down on you, put it back in the cradle”. It was so dystopian and rude. We had an overflowing cart of big items and started to head out to the parking lot. We weren’t even out of the checkout area before another rude employee told us the carts can’t leave the store. What the point then? It was such an unpleasant experience. And funny thing Michael’s has no way for us to give them feedback- hence this post. Just skip it. We won’t be shopping there again.
