Annoying place to deal with. Exam was fine, but the more experienced staff member was extremely confusing in communicating my plan benefits (yeah I could have checked them on my own but I had forgotten to check the detailed plan allowances because I just came off being a grad student with zero vision support). I needed more contacts which I only use for sport, so I wanted a really small number of them. She convinced me I should get 2 boxes of 90 using the "contact allowance" which was $200 some, so I said okay I guess. Turns out it's not a contact allowance, it's a lens allowance for either contacts OR glasses. She failed to tell me this until after we processed the transaction. She also never told me that I could only use EITHER contacts benefit OR glasses benefits per year, not BOTH.
Anyway, I had these contacts waiting for pickup, and I had to try *three* times to pick them up. First time was on a Saturday about half hour before closing, I go there, they're not open, no notice on the door. Okay, fair, maybe something happened, someone got sick whatever. Go back the next Saturday. Closed AGAIN, this time with a sign saying it was only for that day. Finally went back Friday half hour before closing and managed to get in. At this point I tried to return the boxes, reinstate the benefits, and buy a single box out of pocket (since I still needed some). They were willing to do it with some reluctance, though the same manager told me within a few minutes that the minimum purchase is 2 boxes, then that it was 1 box. Which is it?? Since the price of one box out of pocket was about equal to some cheap frames elsewhere, I decided to just keep both boxes, buy the cheap glasses out of pocket, and never come back.
On top of it all, once I received a final bill for a modest $25 additional, there appears to be no way to pay online. I have to hand write out my card number and postal mail it in or call someone. It is the year 2024, why can I not pay online??
Two stars, one for an easy exam and online scheduling, one for the very nice front desk girl. Not enough to return back though!

So disappointed in my experience here. I came for an annual eye exam in May, waited for 30 minutes to be seen, and had to reschedule. I came again, waited for a long time, and then was rushed through the appointment. After the exam, I had to pay more than expected on top of the copay. I express concern that I still couldn't see with the samples the doctor provided. He assured me I'd get used to them. I had to change them to drive home! I kept in touch with the staff who gave me two more sets of samples that were not even the correct power, and I spent the summer with blurry vision or old contacts. When I requested a refund, the staff refused. They also said they'd call me to pick up one more sample. I never heard from them again. I ordered my old prescription and will not return under this ownership.

Very disappointing customer experience. This store recommended & delivered an inferior product -- the glasses didn't fit, couldn't be made to fit, and don't correct vision properly. Store mgt claimed they are a franchise and aren't owned by Pearle Vision so the Pearle Vision Promise of guaranteed satisfaction (on website) doesn't apply to them. After many years of giving them our business we won't be going back.

Brought in a pair of frames I had that needed new lenses. They gave them back to me with a missing nose piece and they didn't have the part to fix it. Instead of offering to order it in, or reimburse me for my out of pocket cost to fix it, they offered to send it back to the lab for ten more days and "maybe they will fix it, if they decide it was their fault" which was so vague I was not wanting to go with that option.
They apparently don't ever offer refunds, or reimbursement even if you're not satisfied so I told them I would not be coming back. Brought my frames into a shop close by and they were by contrast super friendly, fixed it right away and I plan on transferring all my business to aspen eyewear moving forward.

This store is a scam. I went for an eye appointment to check my prescription and get a photo of my retinas while having eye insurance. Was supposed to be able to just pay the copay. I find out when I arrive the copay doesn't cover the retina photo. Okay, that's fine, I pay an extra fee. I leave the store and get a phone call that I have to pay extra after the fact because I'm diabetic, and even though the appointment was no different than anyone else's appointment, and the photo is no different than anyone else's photo, I have to pay more because they "bill insurance differently" due to my diabetes. I argue, but they don't care. I have to pay it. Now 4 months later I'm receiving another bill for an extra $35 because... well just because, I don't know. No one at the store will discuss my bill with me even though I called the number about billing. Was supposed to be in and out for an appointment with just a copay, the whole point of me getting insurance, but they try to find ways to charge you more and more and more even 1/3 of a year later.

I went and bought glasses there with my insurance. Later, I discovered that I could have the same glasses from the manufacturer's website cheaper without insurance and practically free with insurance. Hugely overpriced!
