“Helpful staff. The lady in front of me was swearing at the clerk because she did not like a USPS rule. I apologized for her crappy behavior, the clerk had a great attitude and just shrugged it off easily, and gave me a good tip to save time on mailing my package.”
“Shorter lines than the other post office is, and I don’t know what other people are complaining about everybody’s friendly here and much cheaper than UPS or FedEx”
“I had a great experience at the Boulder Post Office applying for a replacement passport. The staff were friendly and efficient. When I arrived, a woman at the front desk kindly let me wait in the passport area and checked that I had my documents ready.
Troy, who handled my appointment, greeted me by name and made the whole process easy and pleasant. We chatted about 4WD vehicles and travel, and his office—decorated with foreign currency—added a fun, personal touch. Even when there was an error on my form, he helped fix it without making it a big deal. He also explained what to expect next with my documents.
I had a 10 a.m. appointment and was back in my car by 10:20. Super smooth.
Heads-up: there’s no parking at the post office, so expect to park across the street and pay for metered parking.
Bottom line: friendly, quick, and stress-free—definitely not the DMV.”
