Absolutely love this studio. The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming and other students are always very friendly; it’s a great community. I’m such a fan of the fact that they have various types of blended workouts all under one roof (classic barre, strength, cardio, yoga, Pilates reformer). I definitely noticed a huge difference in how I felt and looked within a month of going 3x a week.

Pure Barre has quickly become my favorite workout studio in Boulder. Their teachers are friendly and effective, everyone is so welcoming, and they create a really strong sense of community. After only coming to a few classes, I was greeted by name and guided through subtle yet challenging workouts by the instructors who gave me personalized attention. The studio's cleanliness adds to the overall positive environment, allowing me to focus solely on the workout. When I reached my 100th class, the entire staff made me feel so special and celebrated The workouts themselves are incredibly effective and I love that because they are low-impact, I feel like I can conquer a workout even if I'm not feeling 100% before coming in. If you're looking for a fitness studio that delivers results while making you feel part of a supportive community, Pure Barre is the perfect choice.

Pure Barre Boulder is awesome! The team is so welcoming and kind. This is a really challenging (and fun) workout - but the instructors always offer support and modifications. I have done a lot of workout classes in my day, and the nothing compares to the results I see from Pure Barre. The owner is super friendly and you can tell she loves what she does. I can't recommend this studio enough!

I've found that returning to barre has helped me find my center and ground myself. I've had two spine challenges in my life: a car accident a few years ago that broke some ribs, and a rare cyst lodged in the foramen of my spine, just earlier this year. After the car accident, I discovered PureBarre, and this class with Mish & Shalisa, and they both helped me strengthen my core + whole body. This allowed me to get back to running and cycling, which I love, and am forever grateful. Now that this studio is under new Management, ALL of the instructors are amazing!!Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with a cyst in my lumbar spine, which prevented me from moving. Until this was discovered I spent hours at a time (5+) sitting in a hot tub to manage the intense pain...much less working out. While it's important to give the body time to heal, too much inactivity can also be harmful. Now that I'm cleared to start be active again, I immediately returned to barre. This class once again (with ALL their instructors) is helping me rebuild my physical strength and flexibility, as well as my mental well-being.Even though I never took Ballet as a child... returning to the Barre helps me find my balance. #MyHappyPlace

Even with years of barre experience I was a little intimidated by Pure Barre, until I walked in. Ella was so friendly when I arrived, and every one of the 4 instructors I’ve had since my first class were welcoming, supportive, and offered hands-on adjustments at exactly the moment in class I most needed it (are they psychic or just *really* good at their jobs?)Finally, the community is so warm. Each class I’ve taken the woman next to me has been friendly and as supportive as the instructor. Being in a room of mostly women (there have been a couple men in class which is great :) lifting each other up is such a magical experience.

Having taught and practiced in fitness studios nationwide for over twenty years, I have never been compelled to write a negative review: until now. New to the area, however not new to barre as I have taught and been practicing a variety of styles for close to twelve years, I signed up for a package at Pure Barre. I'd taken one free introductory class and was hopeful that Pure Barre would be a place I would enjoy attending regularly. After paying for a series, I took a few more classes and it became clear that the exercises and sequencing were aggravating medical issues related to my hips and back that significantly have been helped by all other styles of barre classes I've ever practiced! I realize that what works for one body, may not work for someone else. However, I think it merits pointing out that unlike other barre studios where teachers demonstrate the postures and walk around to offer helpful corrections around alignment, in the four classes I attended at Pure Barre, only one instructor came by in one class to show me how to perform one of the exercises. It seemed that it was assumed by the other teachers that the students just knew what to do!When I reached out to cancel the series based on Pure Barre not being a good fit for my body, and ask for a refund on the classes remaining - I was perfectly fine with paying for those classes that I'd attended - I was told no refunds, not even for medical reasons. Implicit in this business model that to my mind and experience is unjust is that Pure Barre's self interest preempts authentic care for those who attend their studios.

This studio is greedy and left me with a poor taste in my mouth. This had the potential to be better if it wasn't for a few rude staff and poor customer service. I enjoyed a free class, and then signed up for their special. Like others have noted, I didn't realize it was a three month commitment. I thought I had purchased class credits that I could use whenever (obviously, I was confused.) I went out of town and didn't use the next month's class credits. When I explained my situation to Jazzy, she was unhelpful, unfriendly, and completely ignored my request. I would have been happy to just have the credits applied to a future month. Nope. Jazzy did not care AT ALL that I didn't understand the automatic enrollment into a three month commitment. I then emailed support(at)purebarre.com and they responded a few times and told me it had been elevated above Jazzy to the owner of the studio, and I never heard from the owner either. I talked with my friend who works at a Pure Barre in Montana and she said some of the franchise owners are just plain greedy. Do better pure barre!

Just came back from my very first barre class. I went in hesitant and with no self confidence. Jazzy and Margaret made me feel at ease. Margaret was very attentive, helped me with my body alignment, and was so patient with me. She and Jazzy were my cheerleaders today

Pure Barre was awesome! The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The studio is airy and bright, with everything well-organized and new. The teacher gave a good warmup before diving into barre class. It was a great workout that you could feel deep in your muscles. The pacing was fluid and just as you felt like you couldn’t do an exercise for a second longer we would switch the the next one. It was a challenging, full body workout with fun music and a nice feeling of camaraderie in the class.

I love pure barre Boulder! I hadn't worked out in a few years and have never been very athletic so I was nervous at first but everyone is so inviting. Their class cancellation policy motivates me to go which has been a great help. I highly recommend them :)
