I moved to Boulder last year and needed someone to cut my hair. I was willing to drive anywhere just to find the right person who new how to handle my curls. I actually tried a place in Denver first but was disappointed in the results. Thank the Instagram algorithm for putting me on to Emmy. Her razor cuts are amazing. She understands my hair and knows how to shape it and make the curls dance. When I leave her chair, I feel like a rock star. Lastly, which I think is super important, is customer service. My bangs weren't falling like they normally do and I had headshots coming up for my business. I scheduled an appointment ready to pay for a retouch. Emmy honored my visit because my cut was only 3 weeks ago. She does the right thing and I think someone who runs their business with integrity says a lot. Go see her now! You'll get a great cut, leave feeling beautiful, and will also be supporting a local business owner who takes the time to get to know her customers!

Emmy is a truly refined artist of her craft on every level. She is always able to understand and execute my vision, which is sometimes hard to do with straight, fine, thick hair on a woman well into her 40’s . Spending time in Emmy’s well appointed and carefully curated studio is an experience onto itself, and the energized, yet serene feeling I leave with is beautiful. You must book.

I've been seeing Emmy since moving to Boulder almost a year ago. She's taken me from shag to shaggier, to bob and baby bangs and beyond - each cut leaving me more ecstatic time after time. She's a magician wielding a razor in lieu of a wand.

I first discovered Emmy in 2018. She has this incredible gift to carve these beautiful crescent moons and unleash even my straight Asian hair into wild free waves - something I've always dreamed of and been envious of. Like many other clients, I felt more myself and finally having hair to match my spirit. Every time I am blessed to sit in Emmy's chair, I feel so grateful. No awkward small talk - just a very pleasant hang out with a sweet friend who gets me. We share stories as she works her magic. Her space is so relaxing and beautifully curated. I've been going to Emmy at least twice a year for the last 6 years and won't go see anyone else. I've also learned so much about what my hair needs for washing care and products. My hair, and my spirit, have never been happier! Worth every single penny!

I started getting my hair cut by Emmy 4 years ago and I don't think I'll ever be able to go to anyone else. I have a textured curly hair and I know prior to seeing her my hair was a huge frustration to me as I did not believe it could ever look good. Emmy was able to let its natural beauty shine and I have never felt more confident or received more compliments on it. Even my bed head hair is amazing now, not kidding! When I see my appointment with her coming up with her on my calendar I am beyond excited and think you should feel that too, she is worth every penny!

Emmy is a magician!! As long as she is doing hair, she is my girl. She is the stylist I’ve been searching for my entire life- finding her has been a game changer. I’ve never loved my hair more!! I have long hair with tons of layers and Emmy uses her razor to cut to perfection. If I ever move out of CO, I would fly here just to have her cut my hair. Do yourself a favor, book an appointment!

Emmy is a true gem of a person and hair stylist / artist. I make the drive from Fort Collins (and previously Denver) to see her because I just trust her with my hair. Which is truly a gift I have never had before. Sitting in her chair is a unique experience and I always leave feeling more like myself. Emmy is an artist - not just a stylist. She's cut my hair for 10+ years, and the styles have changed along with the seasons of my life. Her work is living sculpture & the compliments I get from friends / family / strangers always abound. Best part is her cuts don't require fuss to maintain for a tomboy like me!

The shag I've been looking for! I've been at the beach for the last 2 months (which my hair loves) and day 2, 3, sometimes even 4 are even better than day 1. It's so easy to work with. The layers are perfect. And I can already tell that it will get even better as it grows longer. Love it!

Emmy is sooo amazing- she gives the most gorgeous hair cuts. She is such a master, I’m always so obsessed with my hair : ) her salon is so cozy and beautiful. The whole experience- It’s always such a treat!!!
