Tried to call and talk to someone about help picking out makeup colors for an upcoming photo shoot. There was a long, rambling message on the voicemail and when I tried to get to a customer service rep, I got "request can not be completed at this time" no matter what I selected. I guess I will head to Target and fend for myself, instead.

Great service and selections!I am 100% convinced that the people who have had negative experiences here were just being entitled (entering the store 10 minutes before closing and complaining???, 1 star for not being "properly greeted"????); the staff have always been friendly, nice, and helpful when I've visited. If the staff seem overworked and tired (which they sometimes do), the fault lies solely on the store's management, not the cashiers or other staff.

Had a bad experience at Sephora today. My daughter got a gift card for the holidays and brought it in to use it. She brought it up to the register and started to scrape it off. Some of the numbers scraped off. The clerk at the register called over the manager who said that the gift card was invalid and couldn't be swiped either. My daughter was in tears and the manager said that the only option was to call customer service. Customer service said that if the card was damaged in any way, the card was invalid. I am frustrated that the card was invalid and that the manager was unable or unwilling to off my daughter anything even though employees watched her scrape it off.

Just left this location and dealt with the rudest cashier ever. She didn’t acknowledge me. I, as a a customer, was trying to make small talk with her to make it less uncomfortable but she didn’t acknowledge me at all. Barely made eye contact with me. I’ve never felt more unwelcome at a store as I did just now. Will be calling the store to speak to the manager today. This is unacceptable to treat customers this way !

If you're a fan of being confused, shaken, upset, sad, scared, blankly stared at, aggressively stared at, or verbally assailed...then RUN don't walk to your only (thank gods) Boulder Sephora. There you will be treated like you are from another planet as you try to navigate the zombie-like "customer service" of the rudest makeup boutique in the Western Hemisphere. If the cashier throws down your makeup after ringing it up - don't be concerned, for her name tag says, "My name is Trash," so she's clearly having a worse day at that store than you are. zero stars for the 2 employees that "helped" me and 5 stars for the lovely greeter at the door (in a wheelchair) who was the only brightspot of that wretched outing.

We entered the store 10 mins before closing and during that time all assistants managed to notify us with the countdown 5 times that the store is closing soon. It was very annoying and we were not able to concentrate on our shopping. Announcing that all clients left the store after we passed the doors was cherry on top. We were not planning to stay after hours anyways it is totally disrespectful to kick clients out like that!

The staff here always give me great advice when I ask questions. Had a fantastic experience with Christine finding a new foundation that is cruelty free to replace my Nars products. I always appreciate the staff knowledge at this location and that they listen to my needs.

Last time I shopped at the boulder Sephora about a month ago, I left feeling awful. There is a hostility problem within the staff at this location, which starts at the management level. A few of the employees there have difficulty masking their contempt and are just plain mean. There were also some very sweet and pleasant folks who work there as well so I’m not trying to single anyone out. Let me know when something changes and I’ll return to shop there, but until then, no way.

The store is the only cosmetic tent in town. Sadly. The stock is stacked. Pretty much all the big names in make-up and skin care are represented. But, to be clear, those names are NOT represented because the staff of this particular SEPHORA is appalling. Truly, the worst. I am a well-traveled man. I'm unique in that I have visited make-up and skin-care counters all over the world. Trust me, I know what I am speaking to here. This store is fundamentally flawed. The salespeople are either bored, disinterested or uneducated in the products they're supposed to recommend to their clients. I've received virtually none of that. And it's happened over and over again. A REAL cosmetic counter builds relationships. A REAL cosmetic store is generous and knows how to make a client feel special, seen and served. This SEPHORA does none of those things. It is not cheap. You'll pay the premium, the highest price in any retail store, without top drawer customer service. I have 2 children. Both are girls. One is 9. The other 17. Each has divergent tastes and needs. In a couple dozen trips to SEPHORA, I have been treated with respect, genuine interest, informed customer service, generosity and gratitude ONCE. ONE TIME! Today I had to purchase Gift Cards for the girls for Easter. I mentioned that I would love any kind of perks they could conjure up in the form of testers for their Easter Baskets. Those types of trial size cosmetics and perfumes cost that company nothing. ZERO. $0.00 I was greeted with generosity by one woman at the register. She gave me some odd testers but I wasn't going to stare a gift horse in the proverbial mouth. I forgot to get 2 Gift Cards and had to go back in and purchase another. This time, I was greeted by a miser who was just punching her cash register and her clock. I had just spent a few hundred dollars there. Some Easter "candy" would be delightful. She tossed a few inappropriate products on the counter for mature skin. When I said they seemed unsuitable for the girls she said, "Everything else is for Birthdays." I asked if she had some perfume testers. She literally said to me, "I can't give you any of that. I can't open the perfume bottles and pour them into anything!" "Next!" WHAT??? I was shocked. The saleswoman directly before her had slipped some vials of test perfumes in my bag earlier. I've been gifted with perfume testers since I was 17 years old in the 80's. MADNESS! So, look, if you go, please just ask for a senior team member or manager. Otherwise, you'll get a cold fish that doesn't give a flying cotton ball about you. And that removes all the real joy from purchasing premium cosmetics. Cosmetics are intimate products. Demand service and respect. Maybe we'll meet when SEPHORA has washed up and been replaced by a real cosmetics store. Til then, mark my words. Be beautiful but beware.

Tania is the only reason I will go to this store, she is a kind individual who treats everyone equally no matter the person. She is always going above and beyond for me. She is so much wonderful.

Not great experience, I was not greeted and it felt nearly impossible to track anyone down for questions. Most employees were closed off and having conversation with other employees and not offering help to most other clients either. I was not offered a basket and had to scour around the store just to find one. Certainly disappointed and don't see myself shopping at this store again. I felt unwelcomed at this location and definitely recommend shopping online instead, better deals and help is offered.

Terrible experience and customer service, no one greeted me when entering, employees stood around talking to one another while customers were waiting. Came in to redeem certificate to purchase Ombré Leather and no one asked me if I needed help so I had to track an employee down to unlock and grab the cologne for me.I’ve had multiple bad experiences with this location, don’t bother going, just buy online.
