Fantastic venue with many different rooms that are simultaneously hosting many different types of dance. The best event is their monthly Saturday night swing dance — with a blues room!!! and a live band!!!! Their ecstatic dance is great, too.

Not sure why it posted one star. Probably didn’t have my glasses on. Sorry about that. The Avalon is a 5 star! It has solar panels covering the parking area, so it was nicely shaded, plus they have plenty of EV chargers. It was the perfect location for our electric vehicle showcase.

Have loved this place for years - the dance classes are based in the "social" dancing style of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, which makes them very accessible and fun for beginners. Check out Bob and his lovely wife teaching the one-step - it's a perfect entry point for folks new to partner dancing.Come with someone or alone - this place is really lovely, and the people who manage it clearly love dance, and their passion is bringing it to the public, not making a profit. *10/10*

Great venue for dancing. The main ballroom is spacious, with a proper dance floor, and they have 2 other small ballrooms, a kitchen, etc. Salsa night is always fun.
