I went to this shop to have a trailer hitch installed on my Honda Pilot, and I was very clear that I wanted it for a Honda Pilot. After the installation, I realized that they do not do the same installation as Honda but instead install the hitch below the bumper rather than in the space that Honda provides in the bumper itself. This was not explained to me before the hitch was installed. I returned to the shop and talked to the person there, who said he couldn't help me and that I would need to talk to the manager, Willie Vasquez, who was not there. I left and called in and talked to Willie and explained that I was not satisfied with the installation and that I wanted to have him remove the hitch and refund my money. He was very rude and refused to work with me at all on this situation. He told me to never come to his shop again and then hung up on me. Now, I am stuck with a hitch that was not installed to Honda specifications. Buyers beware!

My truck rental experience during my move was easy, efficient, and flexible. The owner and staff were knowledgable, personable, and great to work with. I was able to quickly extend my rental to allow for changes in my schedule, which helped tremendously. I would definitely rent again when needed.

I rented a 26' truck to move from Boulder to San Diego. The team at pick-up was helpful and polite and the truck was presented clean, with all accessories I reserved. All went well until about 200 miles from San Diego when my truck broke down with a major mechanical which required a truck swap. While I can't say it was fun to transfer loads, U-Haul made it easy as possible. Willie, the GM of U-Haul Boulder, personally called me after the fact to see what else could be done to make it right and he took good care of me. If I'm back in Boulder, I wouldn't hesitate to rent from U-Haul of North Boulder again. Thanks Willie and team!

Scheduled a hitch install here, asked that they not put a "U-Haul" sticker on the hitch, which was ignored. The man working there only told me how easy it is to just remove - so why couldn't he remove it before it went on the car or not put it on in the first place? Then I picked up my vehicle and learned that they didn't lock it while it was parked out front. Someone was able to access my gas tank and siphoned out most of the gas from my tank. It was fully on E when I picked up the car even though I dropped it off with half a tank. I was lucky to make it to the gas station down the street.

Just wanted to share how much I appreciated Drake this morning. I actually brought back my rental truck with some damage this morning. Unfortunately I didn't get the insurance, so I had to pay out of pocket. Even so, I really appreciated Drake's good communication and mellow energy. He explained what my options were and didn't get worked up. I took care of it, and the whole process was smooth and easy. Makes me want to rent from Uhaul again--next time I'll get the insurance. Thx Drake.

I had to pay a fee and did so the day before rental. The day of rental, I was told no. I can not rent. To call a number. Then when the help on the phone found that I paid? She allowed me access to go and obtain access to the vehicle. Meanwhile I am getting screamed at for being late ... all because your computers weren't in sinc🤬 NOT HELPFUL!!!!! I did the right thing by paying my bill, and still your computers were not showing that I paid? I had a receipt ON ME, and was STILL told NO!!! NOT HAPPY!!!

Do not rent from this place. The general manager Willie was incredibly rude to me and accused me of not being able to afford the rental after I told him I didn’t want to pay for unnecessary miles that I wasn’t going to use. You’re better off renting a truck from Home Depot or honestly from any car rental place for a day - you’ll essentially pay the same price, except you’ll have the car for the entire day and won’t have to pay per mile.

Pick up of the equipment was without issues. However, when dropping off I used the app which instructed me to find a parking spot and drop the equipment. The lot was very congested and there was no access to the equipment drop off lane because of multiple trailers blocking the lane and other customers being helped with propane. I backed the trailer into the same spot that I had picked it up from. When I let one of the employees know where the equipment was, he wanted me to reconnect the trailer and move it to another part of the lot and told me I'm not allowed to disconnect the equipment. I have rented u-haul equipment from multiple locations and have never been greeted with such distain. Every other location I have dealt with either had a clear and well marked instructions for drop off or they were happy that i was able to park the equipment where it was taken from. In the future I will use other locations over this one regardless of the location convenience.

The trailer I received had less that the legal (2/32") of tread on the tires. Some parts of the tires had more but some had less to no tread at all, as ultimately I realized the tires were not round/out of balance. This caused the trailer to bounce, and hop and shake my vehicle. Before I realized the cause of the issue I was told this was because the trailer was empty or loaded improperly and they had no prior issues. I went ahead and loaded the trailer and figured with some weight it would become better. It actually made it worse. I brought the trailer to another nearby Uhaul location that refused to help out. I called the location I originally rented from and the only option offered was to return the trailer or call roadside assistance and wait. I inquired about switching it out at another location to which they threatened me with a one-way drop free of a couple hundred dollars (this was only about 50 miles from the pick-up location) but said they had no way to provide me an exact amount. Ultimately I drove it to my destination and couldn't safely get above about 40-45 miles an hour. The 1.5 hour drive took 3.5 hours. I called roadside assistance from my destination and they came out and replaced both tires. The service person confirmed the tires were shot. After replacing the tires the trailer worked fine and pulled smoothly even while being empty on the way back to the store. I've had plenty of uneventful Uhaul trailer rentals from other stores but I don't think I will go back to this location unless I no have another option.

Don’t show up here for a propane refill if it’s anywhere near closing time. The two fellas inside were very unhelpful, despite one of the only organizing boxes.

I have used this UHaul dealer a variety of times and the staff is always courteous and quick to get me in and out the door.

I had a brand new propane tank filled here and it’s unusable because of oil contamination. Don’t get propane at U-Haul

Terrible experience with Willie Vasquez. After returning the truck that I rented, I was surprised to find a $380 charge for damages on my emailed receipt. Luckily, I took pictures of the truck prior to leaving the Uhaul lot which clearly showed the damage had been caused previously. I filed a dispute with customer service and attached my photos as evidence. Despite the evidence, Willie Vasquez sent me a snarky email maintaining that I caused the damages and I will be charged in full. I had to work with corporate customer support and after about 3 phone calls and 2 weeks, I received a full refund from corporate, NOT from kindness of Willie. Go rent somewhere else.
