So far, we have only visited this veterinary hospital because it hosts a dental specialist for animals. In that regard, we have had very positive experiences. (Our dear canine family member was spared some hasty and ill advised tooth extractions by our usual vet.) Otherwise, this practice seems very quiet; it always seems as though we are the only ones there. So that seems a little odd. And for us, the location at Manhattan Circle is rather inconvenient requiring 20-30 minute cross-town drives, always at rush hours, of course.

They went above and beyond helping me find a solution for my dog, and now 10 days after our appointment he is doing so much better! The staff was friendly, quick, patient, professional, and all around great to work with. I would definitely recommend them, and I will be returning to them from now on.

Loved my experience with all of the staff here. Everyone was very caring, patient, and kind. Staff made sure to follow up with me to see how my dog was doing a couple of times and told me they were sending his medical info over to our regular vet (all without me needing to ask them). The care they provide was honestly so much better than I usually get as a human when I go to the doctor. If I ever need to take my dog to the vet again here in Colorado, this clinic will be my first pick :).

Please look elsewhere if your pet needs care, truly. This office is condescending, looking for money and will try to force unnecessary care/bills on you using guilt and scare tactics. It’s repulsive.

I called 10 times 2 days in a row. No one answered. Certainly glad it wasn't an emergency! When we had our VCA in Lafayette, someone always answered the phone. I haven't even been to the facility yet, and I'm already disappointed.

I've used VCA Animal Hospitals for 20 years. Sought them out after moving and have never had any issues, even as we cared for our 16 year old German Shepherd. We were using VCA in Lafayette CO- they were fantastic but closed a few years ago. We decided it was worth the 15 min drive when we got our pup 2.5 years ago. This VCA (in Boulder on Manhattan) is only in it for the money. My dog had a clear test for heartworm in July at the time I was offered the option to purchase 6 or 12 months of heartworm meds. I couldn't afford the 12 pack. I bought 6. Now, they cant authorize mail order pharmacy for the remaining 6 mths without a $75+ vet visit. Not to test for heartworm, just to see my healthy, happy, no issue 2.5 year old pup. Just for the $. I'm happy to pay for an annual visit at the vet, but even my children only needed a once yearly well visit. Save yourself the hassle of being gouged and changing vets- don't go here.

Incredibly rude staff. Other than that fhey refuse to follow their free follow up care that they provided a coupon voucher for when I adopted my dog. It is false advertisement, since it was a promotional advertisement of a coupon provided at the shelter, per my attorney, and we are trying to communicate with the corporate offices before pursuing this office directly. I would definitely recommend you stay away, not only are they rude and they lie to get you in the door, they are grossly overpriced considering the overall prices for the area. The thing is, if properly communicated I would've just paid and not even cared about rhe free followup care, but they didn't tell me what was going on and then I decided to push the issue to a super rude and lying staff. Don't put out these free coupons if you won't honor them and if you have one STAY AWAY. It is a scam to get you in the door and try to nickel and dime you for everything you're worth because despite it directly saying something is covered, apparently there's always a reason to charge you.

This place is a scam. They’re not interested in helping your pet. They are greedy and after your money. We were a customer for many years at this place, and they continually recommended procedures that were unnecessary and way overpriced. Do not take your pet here.

Won't honor their free follow up care they provided me a certificate for. There manager is unprofessional and called me repeatedly after I hung up on them due to their unprofessional csr and manager flat out refusing the follow up they provided a certificate for. The reviews on the office staff are more then accurate. Rude and angry staff is a direct reflection of their work environment

The vet techs here are very rude and talk down to you. We have a scared, timid dog who we have been taking here for years, and Dr. Porter has always been amazing and very patient with her. The techs on the other hand are visibly scared and make the whole situation very stressful for us. It doesn't make me feel comfortable to take my dog somewhere where the techs aren't confident around dogs with different personalities. The tech this morning was very judgmental and we will be looking for a new animal hospital moving forward.

I don’t think I can take the bullying, judgement, rudeness and high prices here anymore. VCa used to be good. I am still hurt I have spent so much time and money here to be treated with such harsh callousness. Hours cut. High turnover. My pets are getting older and I cannot trust you. You push to hard and at times, I find you incredibly ignorant.

The vet was very informative and working to take a stepped approach to my pet's care. She didn't try to get me to spend more $$. I greatly appreciated that. They could use a little spruce up in the front but the care was great!! Dr. Tucker was great too.
