This corporation is very bad.I went in to purchase hygiene and noticed the pricing and products didn't match up. They fluffed their merchandise Walgreens brand in place of the name brands. When I asked if I can get the price that the product was placed under I was told no. Vicki was very adamant that all the customers who have asked for the price the product was placed under never get that price and that she has no power to change the price. I even showed her where the products had been placed to show her that it was an employee error.. She was more concerned with the line forming at the front of the store. She was working the whole store alone at night. If this policy is true. I won't shop at Walgreens anymore. Especially seeing the fluffing of Walgreens brands under name brand sales and pricingShe was not pleasant at all.

If I could give them less than one star, I would. I'm trying to understand that people are shortstaffed, but this place is ridiculous. Standing in line forever. I tried to call and was on hold for over an hour. I purposely stayed on just to see if they would EVER pick up the phone. Finally, I gave up. Avoid this place.

This was absolute worst experience I have ever encountered at a Walgreens and I would never recommend anybody ever go to the store

they lost my photos from disposable cameras!!!!!!!!! I can’t get those memories back. I took 4 disposable cameras with me on a trip and it’s been 3 months since I turned the cameras in. They blame Fuji and the best they can do is give me an 800 number that doesn’t even work. I’m beyond heartbroken and still in disbelief at the lack of care they have.

It's 5:00am, you can't sleep because you are almost out of your refills. Don't go here if you don't want to be in my shoes. It's been days and I was told prescription will be available. Still no update on refill. Waited 1.5 hours on phone and then eventually got hung-up on. They almost NEVER answer their phone 99.99% of the time. Worst is the .001% they answer the phone and give you false hope that the prescription will be ready and you trust them. I called another pharmacy to transfer the prescription and guess what they said... "call your doctor's office to send prescription to us, we are not calling Walgreens since they never answer the phone". And now the strike... This will be my best advice to you here, don't use this place as your pharmacy. Getting a prescription shouldn't be this hard. I am calling my doctor's office to send prescription elsewhere

1 star is too many for this pharmacy. The problem is not the workers, but the indifferent corporate management (see other Walgreens reviews), under-staffing, under-training, and definitely under-compensation of the workers. We will never do business with any Walgreens again after what we experienced last evening. It was bad judgment on my part to accept a vaccine appointment at any Walgreens and especially at 5pm just as people were getting off work. And on a Friday no less. Still .... My immune compromised spouse had a 5pm COVID vaccine appointment. We showed up at 4:40 to find a line of people 12 deep that went 10 minutes at a time without moving so much as one person. Finally, some kindly soul ahead of us in line heard us discussing the situation and pointed out that there was a separate window for vaccine checkin. The sign was at the front of the line and was pointed the wrong direction! When we went up to that window to check in, the general chaos in the pharmacy was painfully evident. Way too few staff to handle predictable 5pm traffic. People were routinely told it would be 30 minutes before their prescriptions would be filled. Which meant they'd have to come back later and stand in line all over again for the better part of an hour. As we finished checking in for the vaccine, an older lady was receiving hers. We were next in line so thought things were improving. 45 minutes later, I approached the vaccine checkin desk again and pointed out to a pharmacist--there were only two at this swamped pharmacy--that it had been 45 minutes since the last person was vaccinated. If Walgreens is going to offer vaccinations, they need to staff for it. Hire an LPN or someone qualified to give injections. Expecting the pharmacists to interrupt their nonstop work of filing prescriptions to give vaccinations is madness. I get my health care from Kaiser. I made a COVID vaccination appointment at the Baseline clinic. I checked in online, went directly to the 2nd floor, waited less than 5 minutes, and less than 5 minutes later an LPN had vaccinated me and sent me on my way. I've written our Senators and Representative asking them to do something about the madness around vaccines. They ought to be available in doctor's offices when people are there for other purposes. Pharmacies are not set up to give vaccinations; they are in the business of filling prescriptions. And expecting pharmacists to do both is unreasonable. Our whole health care system is a mess generally, especially for people like my spouse who need the care of multiple specialists. Bottom line: it was my mistake to go to any Walgreens pharmacy for a vaccination. Walgreens complains about staffing shortages. There's no staffing shortage; there's a compensation shortage, a staffing level shortage, and a training shortage. And, needless to say, a management shortage. Do yourself a favor: go anywhere else for your flu, COVID, and RSV vaccinations. It's got to be easier elsewhere.

The Pharmacy at WALGREENS 28TH St. and Valmont Road in Boulder HAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN ANY BUSINESS IN BOULDER. Worse than any Drug Store, Restaurant, Post Office, Sporting Goods Store, Tire Center, Jiffy Lube, 7-11 Convenience store or Doctors Office, Clothing Store, Auto Repair Shop or Real Estate Office. They clearly don't care. They have no one working there who cares, no management or supervision. I have lived here for over 50 years and have NO IDEA how they are still in business. You cannot call them you cannot use the drive thru or stand in line without leaving frustrated. I called today and just wanted to see how long it would take for them to answer the phone. 2 hours 22 Mins. on hold, they finally pick up and they immediately hung up. I spent over an hour in the drive up and the young lady working says we will fill the prescription now if you can wait. 20 mins later she rudely and abruptly says they are out of stock and walks away from the window. I waited 10 more mins to see when I should come back but she avoided me so I left. I witnessed at least 10-12 customers shake their heads and leave frustrated In the hour or more I waited in the drive-thru line. I will NEVER AGAIN waste time dealing with Walgreens in Boulder on 28th St. off Valmont Road. BTW this is the first Review I have ever left for a business. Tells you how completely awful it is to do business there. Read the other reviews, they all say pretty much the same thing. James

Very slow, understaffed, prescriptions take 2/3/4x the amount of time to fill than it shows. I waited 24hours over the projected time with my prescription "being worked on" , couldn't even call to confirm. Go to a different pharmacy if you need medication sooner than later

Consistently the absolute worst pharmacy in Boulder - no exaggeration. Try calling them - they never pick up the phone. Just this week I spent hours on hold trying to make sure they got my prescription correct, which without fail they mess up every time. And sure enough, it happened again. What makes it infuriating is that they just don't care. The bubble-gum chewing women didn't apologize and instead tried to tell me my prescription was expired which it wasn't. The online order was 100% correct and they just f'd up. Done with them. Save yourself the brain damage and select another competent and caring pharmacy.

This is a painfully frustrating and slow pharmacy experience. The wait times are without fail, 45+ minutes. The pharmacy is understaffed and overworked. The folks are friendly, but you will rip your hair out with the incompetent management. It is clear that this pharmacy is not given the attention or resources it needs. They have not improved in all of my time living here. Suggest switching pharmacies immediately. I would give 0 stars if I could

The only reason I give this or any Walgreens I've been to in the recent past 2 stars is because the people that work at the pharmacy are patient, respectful, and do their job very well for the tools that are given to them. That said, there is clearly an upper/corporate management shortcoming because (no matter if you wait in the line inside, roll through the drive through, or call them up) you're looking at a minimum 30 min wait. Same thing with the Walgreens on Colfax and Race in Denver.

Would give zero stars if it was an option. I received multiple texts alerting me my prescription was ready, went to pick up at 8:30pm, waited in line for 30 minutes at which time the pharmacy tech told me she couldn't find my prescription because it was lost and to come back later because they had to close. No effort to find it, just sorry we know it should be here but we can't find it so too bad. Came back the next day, waited another 45 minutes and was only given a portion of my three month prescription because they couldn't find the full thing. But don't worry they're ordering it so I can come back AGAIN and waste more hours of my life in Walgreens. Literally the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. Two days in a row so clearly it's not a one-off. Called to speak to a manager but as expected sat on hold for an hour then had to disconnect. Seriously save your time and energy and avoid this Walgreens.

Worst pharmacy in the history of pharmacies. 45 min standing in a line of 3 and no prescription ready. Management should be ashamed.

I honestly don't understand how this place stays in business. Is this a Corporate-owned Walgreens? Are there non-corporate or independent Walgreens? I'm asking b/c all I can figure is that this must be an independent Walgreens where the actual owner just doesn't give a F#%k. I don't use the pharmacy but do find myself here occasionally to buy shampoo, batteries lotion or whatever. I'm am always, always AMAZED and not in a good way. The shelves are usually no more than 1/2 stocked, mostly out of the normal things and the employees seem either hugely disinterested/apathetic and/or grossly under-trained. My last visit earlier this week, I felt rude for interrupting the 20-something cashier to ring me up. HE was super busy on his iPhone. When he did look up to ring me in, it was clear that I was intruding on this personal time. During Covid, I thought, Yep, it's hard to staff/ these folks are on the front lines. But we're a year beyond the worst of supply chain issues, staffing issues (if you pay enough), etc. What's up? I pledge from here on out to go to ANY other pharmacy / drugstore in Boulder before I step foot in this Walgreens again. It's by far the most convenient, but only until you get inside.

Every time I go to pick up a prescription here I wait for at least 30 minutes. My last time here I was picking up a prescription and the people working ignored me and the line of seven people for 20 minutes to have a conversation. I don't know if it's because they're understaffed or because the staff is not paying attention but the service here is absolutely horrible.
