I live in my Wallaroo hat when I am in the sun, which is a lot. I am happy that it is not only stylish but durable. I am not easy on this hat and it still looks fantastic. I have replaced this hat over and over because it is my perfect sun protection and accessory. Wallaroo customer service is so fantastic also, very organized and professional. I might have to fall in love with a new style this year as there are so many fun new options. Thank you Wallaroo!

This company is a ripoff and back in the dark ages competitive-wise. They charge for shipping both ways. In what world? Last century? In addition, I bought a hat from them MANY years ago - it was (is) great, but they have nothing like it any more. The one hat that looked closest wasn't even close, and the material was FAR inferior to the hat I bought years ago. Even though I am only getting a small refund, I'll be able to buy another large brimmed SPF Chinese made hat (I have 3 already) - I just can't roll them up. ** I say don't buy a hat over $20 that you can't try on in person -- certainly don't buy it from this ripoff company, Wallaroo. Good riddance.p.s. Management don't bother replying - every time I read the "I'm sorry" etc. messages the faux concern of most modern day American companies makes me more nauseated.

Terrible plastic texture because they’re made with polyester... I hate my hat. I clipped off tags to take on a trip, never wore it. Unfortunately can’t return — just want to warn others these hats are made with polyester, have a terrible feel to them, are not packable/ scrunchable like true raffia hats. You’re better off purchasing a Scala hat. Far superior in quality, feel and packability.

First of all, I love the Sanibel, BUT it does fade. I initially purchased the coral then the cornflower, and just noticed the coral has become a pastel color. Looked at the tag on the cornflower and it says, "This hat is designed to fade in the sun, just like your favorite pair of jeans". I have received a plethora of compliments in the US and Europe over the past 3 years but now it's a blah color, and I'm not a pastel person. Will return the blue because of this. Very sad because the coral was a fantastic color :-( It would be fantastic if your hats were colorfast solution dyed!!!

Unfortunately, I am leaving a one star review because this company doesn't stand behind their products or customers. I have several of their hats which I really love, especially in the mountains of Colorado. However, one of the hats I purchased last summer, had started to detach from the brim. When I called Wallaroo to see what they could do to help me, as I have several and none of the others have fallen apart. I was told to take it to a shoe repair store or they could give me 25% off my next order. I can't in good faith spend more money on a product that fell apart after minimal wear over a few months time. Nor give my money to a company who doesn't seem to care when they sell expensive, products that are poor quality. Very disappointed as I work outside a lot and will now be looking for a new company with great quality hats.

Wallaroo Hat Company is hands down the best company out there for quality and customer service. I had an issue with one of my many hats and Ashley from this amazing company was on top of it and sent me out a new hat. I am overwhelmed by their attention to detail. They care about their customers and their happiness. Not many company’s like this in todays world.

I ordered 2 hats. The quality is not what I expected for the price paid. The ads promote an Autralian style hat, unfortunately that's not the quality. I should have paid more attention to where they were made.

This isn't a retail store. It shouldn't have a Yelp listing. I drove out here, saw that they were in, and the WILL CALL door and shipping bay were open. But the front room shelves were empty, and the door had a sign saying "Please no walk-ins". They might be a great e-retailer, but they shouldn't waste people's time with a listing with an address.

This company removes reviews from its website that aren’t 4+ stars. That puts its ethics in question. If its products were really so great, Wallaroo wouldn’t need to remove reviews. I’ve purchased two hats from Wallaroo after reading reviews that say you can adjust the drawstring of their one size fits all hats to fit smaller heads. This is absolutely not the case. It makes me mad Wallaroo removed my reviews, which could have prevented other people from wasting their money like I did.
If you’re going to get a Wallaroo hat, buy from Amazon on another site where you can see all the reviews.
