Unfortunately gross negligence and incompetence seem to be a theme in these reviews, especially for "Dr" Caroline. She misdiagnosed my healthy young dog with cancer, performed unnecessary surgery and to top it off, prescribed a pain killer my dog had contraindications for that then caused further distress. As another reviewer stated, she's condescending and defensive. If you care about your dog, take them elsewhere.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE PLEASE!!! they have misdiagnosed both my German Shepard and my Pitbull on MULTIPLE occasion's and my dog almost lost her paw due to this vet malpractice. Will be taking legal action.

Took our pug in because he was having trouble breathing, they took X-rays and said he had heart issues and we should go to a cardiologist in Denver and that they would email us the X-rays. We decided to come home to Texas and now they won't give the x-rays to our vet and they won't email them.

The most amazing veterinarian we have ever been to. They were able to squeeze us in on 7/3 and the pricing was extremely reasonable. The doctor was super thorough and spent time listening to our explanation (we got a new puppy the day before). I would highly recommend them and I just wish we lived here so we could use them forever. Thank you to the whole staff for your excellent service!

They killed me sweet boy. I wish I could give less than 1 star considering the Breck animal clinic killed my puppy. My dog was barely 8 when u brought him in for a mass and limping. Over 65 days after my appointment they called me to tell me we had nothing to worry about. My dog died of cancer less than 30 days after that call. If you care about your dog you will NOT take them here. They are awful, d**** and Un-educated. The worst vets ever. Thanks for nothing I wish you the absolute worst.

I would not see Dr. Caroline. She is arrogant, rude, unprofessional and condescending. She was not compassionate toward my dog or me. If she acts this way toward sick animals, why is she in this business? I like the practice itself, the vet techs, front desk, but see any other provider.

I'm so happy with the care my pup received. I brought in my pit with over 1000 porcupine quills all over her face. It was after hours and they arrived fast and were able to calm me and her. They removed them all with 0 complications. It was a terrifying experience and I'm so thankful for their kindness and experience.

I just have to say that these vets are absolutely wonderful. They have helped me again and again and again. They are amazing and really care about you and your pets. I've had so many complications with my dog and they are always ready to help in whatever ways they can.

Many thanks to the team at the clinic. Today I brought my Bernese into the clinic on an emergency basis as he had digestive issues. I was away from home and relied on Yelp reviews and website reviews to choose the facility. The staff and Dr. Ed were compassionate, skilled and all around lovely! Thank you so much. Highly recommend!

We had been driving across country with our two dogs and stopped in Breckinridge for a few days. Our 13 year old black lab Bailey had not been doing well prior to the trip, but after traveling for five days she was really suffering. We couldn't bear the thought of making her drive 20 more hours in the car and we decided that Breckinridge was just about the closest place to heaven we could find...it was time to let Bailey go. ThankfullWe found Breckinridge Animal clinic. Although they didn't know us at all, they treated us like we had been there 10 times before and were so sweet and kind to Bailey. The experience couldn't have been better and more caring. They let us lie on the floor with Bailey and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. When she passed it was the most peaceful experience for us all. We asked to have her ashes shipped back to us in California and we just received them today. Surprisingly there was a personalized card with a note from all the employees - just like they'd known us for years. Thanks to BAC for making such a terrible day bearable. We would recommend them to anyone.

This staff cares so much for visitors and local animals-alike. They're kind and attentive. As a new puppy mom, I have asked them 5 billion questions and they are always willing to answer my questions with honesty and patience. So glad I chose Breck Animal Clinic to care for my fur "child," Winston.

This is a late review, but I just wanted to post how wonderful the clinic was for our dog. She was really suffering and they did their best. Thanks to all their efforts we had a great baseline for the specialists to go from when performing more tests. My dog is now getting the chemo treatments she needs to live a long happy life. Thank you Dr. C and all the staff.

Was in breck for the weekend with my 9 year old shihtZu. My pup got into it with my friends dog and her eyeball literally fell out of her eye socket and her face. It was dangling. We called the vet on call, it was 7:30pm. They were able to see us within 25 minutes. They. Were. Incredible. The doctor and the nurse took amazing care of my dog. They were supportive and treated her like she was their own dog. They were able to save the eye, and in two weeks I will be driving back to breck because even though I could see my vet in Denver, they were so amazing it's worth the drive to me! Chloe is now out of pain and relaxing. I had a panic attack at the sight of her face, and the amazing people at this vet completely calmed me down and explained everything in terms that were easy for me to understand. Thank you!!!!!!

We just moved into the area and have a 14yr old pit bull who has had some ear problems recently. After being with the same practice for 14 yrs, I was nervous taking my pup somewhere new. We needed to see someone right away so I searched online and chose Breckenridge Animal Clinic based on other reviews. I'm so glad I did! They were able to squeeze me in last minute. The staff is amazing, welcoming and super friendly. They 100% treated me and my dog like family, like we've been coming to them for years. We've been seeing Dr Cervelli, she's fantastic! She is so kind and you can tell she genuinely cares for your animals. Also worth noting, I though being in Breckenridge It would be pricey, but it was not so. I found the fees to be comparable to our Vet back home, less even! We've had to go back a few times with this ear issue (through no fault of the Clinic), and every time we arrive we are greeted with a warm welcome and treats for our pup :) Highly recommend!

I love these guys. They took exceptional care of my last lab who lived to a ripe old age of 14 and now my new lab, who I rescued at the age of 4 two weeks ago. Dr Sophia has helped me with, not only, health issues but also training my untrained lab rescue. Everybody in the office are fantastic. Thank you.
