Grand Timber Lodge is a relaxing and peaceful resort in an excellent Breckenridge location with beautiful mountain views. It is a wonderful get away, super close to Main Street for shopping and eating, with an easy 10-15 minute walk or a free shuttle. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is fantastic, with excellent management focused on customer service. The property offers great rooms and awesome facilities, including plentiful parking, a functional gym, and an abundance of hot tubs. The pools are smallish and can be crowded. The kitchen is fully stocked, though some rooms lack an oven, with grills outside. Rooms are spacious but show their age, and there is no air conditioning. Some mattresses are noted as very hard. A mandatory daily resort fee applies. It is a great property for a mid-range budget, with plenty of family activities, free gondola rides, and access to biking, hiking, and the coaster ride.
