The place has beautiful gifts, but the guy behind the counter needs some customers' classes .
I went there today and decided to go with my family to get some souvenirs and the guy at the counter was being very rude without wanting to assist me he was the worst at the very end when I asked him to hold some stuff for me since er are looking for more gifts, he feel anoyed by me without reason, at the beginning we didn't kniw the items goes by number, and i said sorry i didn't know that, because i wast taking the stuff with me.
my husband and kids went outside to wait for me to pay... i was waiting for thia guy to tell me something whe. He is done with packing or idk tell me " im ready", meanwhile i wass looking the earings, my husband came in to ask "if I was done" and I told him "I was waiting for the guy to finish" he waited for my husband to back out with my kids then he said "I've been ready for a while waiting for you" and I told him that I was sorry and he didn't say anything to me about being ready he didn't apologize, I asked him if he could add 2 earrings to the order and he threw them without any second thought I asked him if he had any problems and he responded "no" and I told him that he was being rude the entire time and he should be more respectful or at least polite, when assisting his customers.
he told me the total amount pointed where ro insert my card on and pay I payed him and he threw the receipt in the bag and I told him "for a detailed receipt" he was annoyed by it and threw the receipt and my face by that moment i feel completely mistreated and i called him an asshole and then I left but he said something to me but I didn't hear it , ask what he said and smile and said nothing just have a good day.
I check the review in Google, and I saw something very similar happened to another girl...

There are lots of really nice hand painted ornaments and hangings. Snow globes and crystals. It's worth a look.

I found beautiful sun catchers for gifts. After waiting for someone to check me out, a man came to the register who appeared unkempt. I got the feeling I was interrupting something as he avoided eye contact and any greeting. He rang up my items and pointed to where I pay. I signed the receipt and thought I would take my items and go as they charge for bags in this area.
After agreeing to get a receipt, he pulled out a slim paper bag and shoved the dream catchers in the bag. I saw the feathers get caught and bent backwards on the way in and immediately turned to pull them out and attempt to smooth them out. I tried to lay them flat between shirts. I walked outside to discuss this with my husband as I felt the seller damaged the property after selling it.
We went back to ask for a return or some other compromise. The seller got flushed in the face and he repeatedly stated he does not accept returns and that there was nothing he could do. I asked for the manager and he said he is the manager. I pointed out how the feathers were damaged from how he shoved them in the bag. He said that is how they looked on the rack, yet the ones on the rack are in much better shape. His face was flushed and he appeared to be angry so I left the damaged items there as I cannot gift them life that.
I read that the owners of this shop are amazing so I am very disappointed to have a gift damaged after purchase by the seller of that object. The negligence towards products left a bad vibe on me even after the encounter.

Does not care about your business. Clerk/Manager is extremely rude. Overpriced items. Go elsewhere.

All I can say is just WOW!! The best customer service. Melissa really went over and above. My elderly mom purchased an ornament here. When she arrived home across the county she was unable to located the ornament and was devastated. We located other places online to purchase the ornament but none had the town of Breckenridge engraved. I decided to contact every gift store in the area. (I had not accompanied my mom on this trip and had no idea where the ornament was purchased) and although some stores I contacted did have the ornament, no one would ship it to me because they were too busy during the holiday season.... Skinny Winter Gifts was the last gift shop on my list to call. Melissa answered and stated that not only did she have the ornament but she would ship it to me the following day. She was the sweetest during our conversations, and so happy to help me. When my mom received her ornament she was thrilled beyond explanation. Melissa's kindness meant the world to me and especially to my 82 year old mama. Melissa truly went over and above and her kindness will never be forgotten. It's the little things these days that make all the difference, which so many seem to forget, but not Melissa. Both her and Skinny Winter Gifts made my mom's holiday quite a bit brighter. I'd make Skinny Winter Gifts the first stop when shopping while in Breckenridge HANDS DOWN THE BEST!

I'm trying to collect Christmas ornaments for my daughter's travels, and this summer while visiting Breckenridge we never bought one. I reached out to Skinny Winter Gifts to see if they could mail me one and they went above and beyond to accommodate the request.

Went in to buy item in window w/price tag of $49.95. When I checked out I was told my total was $82. Clerk said it was mis-marked. False advertising in the window! Clerk threw away price tag so I couldn't prove it. Asked twice if they would sell it to me for what they marked it as. But no. Lost my annual business! Hope owner gives a rip.

He said the name came from when times were not profitable. 50% of his products are handmade and 70% come from the USA, he said he doesn't buy anything from China! Bravo! BUY LOCALSUPPORT LOCAL

The man who worked was rude to us and wouldn’t let us park our bikes by his store even though we were shopping in there. Very rude. Won’t go back.
