I normally ski 90 + days in a row and generally do fairly challenging terrain - blacks, double blacks, moguls, trees, etc. Since I generally do more difficult terrain I need a very firm boot that gives me control. However, since I ski so many days in a row I need an extremely comfortable boot - even the smallest imperfection has the potential to become painful over weeks and months. I also have very wide feet which makes it more difficult for me to find a good boot. Mason and Mike did a great job creating a boot for me that is comfortable enough to ski in every day for 90 + days in a row but gives me the control I need on more challenging runs. The boots they created are worth every penny.

If you want your feet to feel like they are being gently caressed by a hundred tiny baby angels while you are skiing, this is the place for you! Michael is super knowledgeable, attentive and took awesome care of my little piggies.

The only place to buy ski boots if you want a custom fit -- I just bought my second pair. Yes, they're expensive, but worth every penny for the comfort.

A lot of attention to detail. They take the time to get you the perfect fitting boot. They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for.

I have lived in Vail now for over 10 years and have always referred my friends and guests to Surefoot after my girlfriend had a good experience many years ago. Unfortunately a lot has changed since then and good employees are difficult to come by. My latest experience at Surefoot was one of the worst retail experiences I have ever had.After getting new footbeds for my snowboard boots I returned with three of my guests, all interested in new boots. While waiting for my friends to be fitted one of the employees learned I was a snowboarded and began to personally attack me. Instead of engaging with this employee we quickly left and will never return even though my footpads need adjusting.I have experienced bigoted skiers before but never in a retail environment. This place thinks discrimination is funny and talking down to customers is okay. There are many options in the valley to get your boots fitted. We ended up at Boot Mechanics in Avon.

Thanks to Robert for the boot recommendation and making the fitting process effortless. Thanks to Max for the quick, easy, effective left boot inner ankle adjustment that was needed. I feel like I have a partner on the slopes now just in case I need any adjustments in the future.

I visited the Breckenridge store on Friday after only being able to ski for about 1.5 hours on Thursday because of the pain my boots were causing my feet. Rob was able to make some adjustments to my boots in about 45 minutes and gave me the ability to ski all day on Saturday with my friends and family! Thank you for the great customer service from the whole team at Surefoot!

Phenomenal experience!! Max was excellent at taking care of me. I had a boot that was too narrow for me and I took it in right before closing and had it ready to go for me early the next day for a comfortable day skiing!

This is the second time I have had boots from Breckinridge. My first pair needed a lot of adjustments due to my feet issues so was expecting to have similar issues this time. Oliver was great and after a very straightforward process, I was fitted with boots with custom liners and heaters. Was not expecting to need new insoles but this was recommended and although I had not wanted to spend this extra, I am very glad I did. I have now skied for 10 days with the boots and no further adjustments have been needed - first time that has happened. Really pleased with the comfort and performance of the boots and would recommend this store for the knowledge and service I received.

I took my 10 year + boots in that were hurting after a few days on the hill. These guys hooked me up by making them more comfortable and after today on the hill my feet are feeling great. I appreciate you guys!
