You are not allowed to pick a package up for someone else (wife same last name). I had tracking number and ID and they would not allow me to pick it up. The employee said good dont come back after he would not give me my package. I find that odd, like they are trying to steal packages.

If you have a mailbox at the UPS store, they will only release your mail to you it as long as the name matches. That sounds OK until the company you work for ships you a package, and accidentally lists themselves as the business. Even though the package was addressed to me, the UPS store would not release it unless I paid $40 or added the 'business' to my mailbox. I explained the situation, but was told that I could either pay the $40 or have it shipped back to the sender.
This makes me wonder what other mail I have missed over the past few years that I didn't know about. For example, if someone sends mail to just my first initial and last name, or if someone uses my middle initial, where does that go?

The petty fees they charge is unbelievable. And if I was a PO Box holder there, I would not be charged
I’m also a local in Summit County who ships a lot.

AVOID! I give this store zero stars. I just had one of the worst - and last - experiences at The UPS Store. I’ve lived in Breckenridge for over 25 years and used this location frequently. The customer service has been going downhill the past few years and is now simply horrible. Specifically, Elijah was rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. I feel sorry for him and the staff at this location. Beware, they try to get you to purchase unnecessary boxes and packaging, go through your personal shipping items, do not ship packages on time, are rude, and not honest.

They r expensive and make u pay cash because from what I understand, they have had people cancel payments because they aren't the easiest UPS Store I've ever dealt with.. Mater of fact they r the worse and I travel all over the country. They told me it would be $60 for my package, when it came in, they said it would be $80. If they don't know how much they should give u an idea of what it might cost.

A general rip off at best-$7 to print a label from a email. I assume since they are the only UPS store in breckenridge they can screw their customers. Steer clear

This is the only UPS store I have ever encountered that charged me to do an Amazon damaged package return. It was a small charge, but as a local UPS monopoly, there aren't any viable alternatives without a long drive somewhere else. So at the end of the day, UPS damaged something I purchased (from Amazon) and I had to pay to have them take it back.
UPDATE AFTER THE UPS RESPONSE:
It is easy to type a nice reply on google, but the reality is you were rude at the counter and as everyone can see from the many negative reviews about your store, you have lots of opportunity to improve. This is not the first issue I have had at your business, but the last time I let my credit card company get my money back via a chargeback once I sent them all the details of how you charged a fee that was not disclosed in advance.

Went in to print a 1 page document and have it notarized. Printed the page and was then told the notary was busy packing something and I'd either need to wait 15 minutes or come back in 15 minutes. Basic document, would have taken about a minute to watch me sign it and stamp it, but he couldn't interrupt his packing to do it.

One of the best and friendliest UPS franchises I’ve ever worked with. The store has been a huge help in getting consistent mail and packages in Breck—all of the staff is wonderfully helpful and remembers you by name. The store also has great communication for its box-holders, including package receipt updates.

I walked in smiling carrying a package and labels to drop off. I looked around and saw what I thought were empty work stations. Nobody greeted me until I was I. Front of a scale. A guy wearing glasses and steering down scolded me for not being on line. I looked confused because I’ve never waited in line before when dropping packages off. He waved in a dismissive way for me to stand about 3 feet from where I was. I quietly moved and stood. The exact same person started barking, ‘next, next, next in line while looking at the ground.’ There was a person in front of me so it was confusing. By this point, someone else in the store looked my way and told me that he was talking in my direction. He then took my package and told me next time he will be a dick and not help me. I will be sharing this with UPS.
I don’t understand how a guy who hates his job so much finds it necessary to take his anger out on strangers.
