The resellers have first pick on inventory, makes no sense why the same man is always walking throughout the whole day. If you want Levi's, he took all the Levi's already. It’s an everyday occurrence. Save your time and go elsewhere.

Overpriced. Couldn’t believe it. I saw things from dollar tree marked up. The furniture was pricing you would find on Amazon. Just buy it off Amazon so it’s brand new.

When did Goodwill get so PICKY? Brought thousands in usable stuff and a snarky little teenager says he won't take any of it. This includes a pair of cots we bought...FROM GOODWILL A YEAR AGO. Nope, not interested in anything.
He even had the audacity when I handed him some perfectly good folding chairs with small rips in them to say "I think we're gonna pass on that" with a stupid little grin on his face.
This kid loves telling people no, and that's a plague in the retail space. Stop being so cowardly and take the things that people need. Baby items, sports helmets that are IN THE BOX and run 100-150, skir gear, a beatiful headboard and footboard....it's all going in the dumpster because ARC is apparently too good for it.
So instead of taking these donations there as we've done for 20 years, we're going straight to the dumpster. I will not be put through that embarrassment again.
Don't bother replying to this review, its not coming down. Stop being cowards in the face of litigation and insurers and start helping people with the things they need like helmets and booster seats for their kids, beds, and furniture. This was the most insane visit to an ARC store I've had in decades and it will not be repeated. Asinine.

The Brighton has got to be the worst especially the employees (cashier's) and the Supervisors. I spend well over 2 hundred a month at least and because I return some items within the 10 day time frame they start questioning the stickers and the way they look or even placed they even say ohh we don't mark up items that high of price or even question where item was found and if it's priced cheap then they won't let you purchase it and another thing all these items are donated they act like if you return something the money is coming out of their pockets well news flash you don't give money back you give store credit so regardless the money still stays in the store.

I went into arc today in Brighton and while looking at some coffee pots, a store employee came by and heard us talking about sewing machines. He said he had just gotten one in, still in the box, brand new, everything included. I needed a sewing machine so I bought it. When I got home I discovered that it was used, which I don't mind, but there were no accessories or anything.
I live in Sterling, 1.5 hours away. I called the store and explained what happened and said I would like to return the sewing machine. They said I have 10 days. That's a lot of time and gas to take it back. I will not be back down there for 3 weeks. Now I'm stuck with a 45 dollar sewing machine that I can't use!

Lady at the front. (I believe a manager) was completely rude. When we had simply asked if stuff on the floor could be discounted further if there for a certain length of time! She claimed it’s never on the floor more than a week, and is constantly “rotated”. I had told her there was stuff I wanted that was broken and out on the floor for months. She was snoody and rude about the entire encounter! All over a simple question!!! With the amount I’ve spent here! 2 times or more a week I was appalled to see this behavior!!!

Bad customer service last nigth wednesday August 21,2021 , 8:45 ,I ask the lady in charge last nigth for help, I just want to check on binoculars and she told me with a grumpy and angry face that is already close,I told her still 15 minutes before store close she told me with a bad attitude that she can't help me with a crossing arms,after that incident she wasn't doing nothing but talking to another employee,that was a chubby spanish woman, We are the customer that provide a job to this trift store employees, we need more respect. If she not going to help she can quit and go home and change her manners!! I been a arc customer for more than 20 years! First time I have a problem with a arc employee!! I wish you can help with this!

Very rude customer service, charge you for bags , the biggest thing that I found most disrespectful is that all the money that I spent on clothes was not folded and just stuffed in a bag like if my time and my donations didn't matter

The guys working at donation drop off are sometimes really rude, and pushy. Today the guy opened my car hatch and started grabbing everything before I could get out of the car. Only one box was donation, the rest was our personal property that he grabbed. I stopped him and he became very rude. Management doesn't seem to care about this. I have complained before about the same thing.
