I bought a high end BOSCH dishwasher at the Brighton, Colorado Lowes. The salesman gave me a brochure that said there was an up to $300 rebate on installation. The dishwasher was delivered yesterday but when I tried to apply for the rebate online, my sales information wasn't accepted. I spend hours calling Loews Customer Service and rebate, BOSCH Customer Service and rebate. Each said it was the other's problem. I turned out that that particular dish washer actually didn't qualify for the rebate that had been handed to me. I finally went to the Brighton Lowes where I bought the dishwasher and talked to the store manager, Allegra. She understood that I was sold the dishwasher with the understanding of the rebate and refunded me the amount of the installation on my credit card. It's not often that you find a store that does the right thing like this for a customer.

I would do just one star but in all fairness these guys didn't know the truth about my return. But I think if they knew the truth it probably would t have changed anything because I have tried a couple Of lowes. So, I purchased a very expensive carpet cleaner from them not too long ago, a couple mo the ago. It is the bissel lift off pet edition. It cost me a little over 300. Now, I'm a single mom so it's not like I have a bunch of extra money laying around. I used this unit about 3 times and on the fourth time it had absolutely no suction. So my old antique rug was almost ruined by this. I could t let it get ruined because it was my grandparents rug and that would have sucked. So I was forced to go out and pick up another carpet cleaner so it wouldn't get ruined. I would have just exchanged the carpet cleaner BUT Lowes said I needed the box, which I didn't have anymore, I mean who really has that kind of room to keep boxes like that just laying around? Anyways, After I got the new cleaner I just figured I could now use that box to return the broken one... well, they wouldn't take it because when you scan it, it says that it wasn't purchased at lowes. But I swear on everything I own that I did purchase it from Lowes. Now, I did use cash and at this time I guarantee it has been over the 90 day return window, but it stopped working inside the window I just couldn't return it because I didn't have the box. So anyways, now I have two carpet cleaners, I would sell the one I have but that would be wrong to sell a broken product to anyone so I am stuck with it. And now I have spent almost 700. On this stupid unit because I did not want to ruin my rug... just stinks that I'm damned if I do and dined if I don't. I'm at a loss. I guess I just need to start shopping at Home Depot now. Because even telling them the truth does absolutely nothing for me. I just wish there was something I could do because I certainly can't afford to just go out and spend that kind of money on broken products. Boo Lowes! Wish y'all could just look up a persons name and see whether they really purchased an item or not. Hate feeling like I have to lie because the truth sounds too weird to be real. Looks like it is time to start shopping at Home Depot. I use to only shop at lowes but not anymore.

"We offer a military discount." ... but only if you jump through our hoops. Register online, even though you have a valid military or Veteran ID... Not registered, too bad I guess. Why even offer it!? Silly.

Went to buy a deadbolt set. While looking none of your three employees could offer assistance. Especially the two talking for ten minutes. Just to find out what is displayed is mostly only available online. So congratulations when Amazon puts you out of business

Great prices on plants/ flowers. They give a 10% veteran discount but you have to register online which is annoying because I had my Veterans ID on me but they would not take it.

The staff and store has not taken good precaution when handling this pandemic. I went in to this site and found people not wearing a mask at least two people who work there not wearing their mask properly.

Go to Home Depot down the road instead. These people here can't seem to assist anyone as there is never anyone around to ask help. Stood in paint for 10 minutes waiting for someone to mix paint and nothing. Taking my money else where. This place sucks if you need help.

Came in and notice store is clean and will staffed.. Looking for carpet got friendly help and was walked threw the process... Prices were a little high but definitely competitive with other big box retailers. .. Unlike home depot down the street it was easy to get prices and carpet samples

Whomever does the hiring here needs to be fired. I walked around the store for 30 minutes and not one employee asked if I needed help. Even when I walked past the same ones multiple times. And when I stopped and ask for help the employee called the department supervisor and said they would meet me but no one ever came. Eventually just left. Terrible service

So Far I have not had a bad experience here yet. It seems the employee to shopper ratio is higher than at the HD down the road and the prices always seem to be better as well. I have always been helped when needed and the team is knowledgeable and friendly. If they don't have what your looking for they will help you with a different solution if possible. They never question returns when I have had them and the "My Lowe's" card is PERFECT for tracking transactions. You will never need to save a receipt again if you use your "My Lowe's" number each time ( or phone number). I wish they rented tools like HD which in the ONLY reason now that I go there but that is not a deal breaker. I even had a quality concern regarding a flooring product they sell and they agreed to take it back at 100% refund, after it had already been installed. They also offered a discount to purchase a replacement item that may suit my needs better.

We came in right before close and in desperate need for citronella candles. We found a clearance rack of them but yet were not what we were looking for. Hubby ask one person and he pointed to the clearance rack. Not helpful. We walked around a little more and found another person. This associate was much more helpful. He asked if we wanted a specific kind and said he thought he saw some. He took us down the aisle he thought they were in and we found what we needed. The 1st my hubby asked found us and said "oh we also have the stick things with oil with citronella." We said we were good and he left. Hubby and I looked at each other and said "Did he mean Tilki torches?" Started laughing and went to pay for our purchase. The associated that checked us out was very nice as was the one that helped us find the candles. Which were on sale, bonus. So looks like customer service is hit or miss, but we helped, so we were happy.

WILL NEVER BUY FROM LOWES AGAIN!!! We started at the Lowes in Westminster to purchase a storm door with self storing screen and have it installed. Westminster Lowes said we needed the measurements for the door (it's a new construction front door) as there were no "standard" door sizes. So we drove to Brighton, measured the door and headed to the Brighton Store. We could not find anyone to help us, and eventually paged someone to "Millworks" to assist us. He was so inept, he actually called for assistance in typing the order into the computer, because he typed too slow. We waited 10 minutes, before he started typing himself. While holding the measurements obtained from my house, we tried to order the standard front door. We were told we were unable to purchase the door, without a person from Instillation Detail coming out to measure for the door. This was going to cost us $35, and we had the measurements with us... still they would not sell us the door. So we took the detail installation and the door information to the counter and tried to pay for the detail, an instillation ($98) and the door ($312). The cashier, who was slow and rude.. did not know how to ring it up, so she called a manager... who also did not know what to do. He told us we could not pay for the door until the detail guy came out. He then told us that the $35 would be deducted from the $98 instillation fee. He said once the detail guy came out, my we could order the door over the phone and authorize payment via phone line. All of the paperwork and information provided to us said the detail guy would call within 2 business days. I waited until the afternoon of the third business day and called. At that time, I learned that he came out without an appointment and measured the door a day earlier. No one called to have me order the door or my father to pay for the door. Who knows if he actually came out, or used my measurements. So I told them the door I wanted, which included satin nickel hardware. I got a phone call from Dell in millworks who informed me they did not have the satin nickel hardware for the door. He made it sound as if Pella no longer made the satin nickel hardware. He told me he was just going to "go ahead and order the brass" which he had in stock. I explained that my HOA did not approve the brass, only the nickel. He offered to send me a stock door, with warranty parts for the door knob, in nickel. But, he said, they didn't have any nickel kick-plates, so I would have nickel knob and a brass kick-plate until they could get more kick-plates in, which could be "days or months". By the way, it would still cost the same $312. Eventually he ordered the correct door with the satin nickel hardware (adding the extra cost of $50 for a special order). The door was ordered and paid for over the phone. Three days later, I got two calls from millworks and instillations and learned that I needed to sign a contract. The guy from millworks said he could email or fax the paperwork to me, but installations said I had to do it in person. She told me I could come in on a Sunday. I rolled into the store on Sunday at 4p.m. And there were three cashiers standing at the customer service desk. I stood there for 3 minutes without anyone saying anything to me. I asked if they were open and got a semi-verbal response. I explained why I was there and the cashier stood there and did nothing. I told him again I needed to sign paperwork that was supposed to be in the instillations office, and did nothing. Eventually he sauntered back to the manager's office. A short time later, a manager came out... they could not find my file or paperwork, so they could not help me. I needed to come back in the following day. He eventually contacted another guy from millworks, who was able to look up my door and the order on the computer (the file is totally MIA). While I waited for him to print out the contract, he explained that he didn't understand why we paid for a detail, since it cannot be deducted from the instillation

Every place I've been to in Brighton usually has great customer service. Lowe's must ship their employees from France and teach them English. These have been some of rudest, unattentive salespeople I have met. I have only been in twice in the last year, but received poor support from the carpet dept, and appliances. Both times I had issues with the sales staff not willing to check other stores for inventory. I will stick with Home Depot.
