I love Safeway. Even worked there.However I went in today with my kids and mother. Needed to is the restroom. It was locked and I waited patiently for about 5 minutes. By then a mother and her two daughters come up and the baby needs to use the bathroom.We wait a few more minutes and no one comes out. So I let the mom know I've been waiting for about 5 minutes and when they're done she and the kids could go before me.She asked her daughter if she could hold it till they got home. And the daughter agreed.Waited a few minutes more and I knocked again. A employee opened the door and very rudely answered "What?!" When he saw me he looked at me and said "Oh bathroom is closed I'm cleaning it." And slammed the door on me.No sign. No nothing. I had no idea someone was cleaning the bathroom. I thought it was in use. I had to go to the bathroom so bad I used the men's bathroom.If there was a sign or if he politely said "I'm so sorry I'm cleaning the bathroom right now. I'll be done in x amount of time. Sorry about that." Or something along those lines I would of understood.But the fact he was rude about it, like I was inconveniencing him, and slammed the door in my face was unacceptable. I've never had issues with employees at Safeway. And I've never met someone so entitled.Personally that experience alone makes me want to shop elsewhere. Like is he like that to everyone he meets?

I had the best service and experience from the Lady at the Florist dept this past Saturday 01-06-24. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. I normally go to an actual Florist shop for Flowers but that day it was closed at noon, so I decided to go to Safeway to look at Flowers and I was very impressed on the customer service. I will be returning for future flower arrangements.

Thank god for honest people. I left my phone by the lotto machine and somebody turned it in. 2 people could have easily kept it (the person that found it and the worker). I'm super grateful and lucky. Thank you. Oh and Safeway has great food prices and yadda yadda.

I ordered a cake two weeks ago and when I went to pick it up it wasn’t even remotely close to what I ordered. I ordered it to pick up the day of the event and I was told that they couldn’t do anything because the cake decorator was not in that day. I figured by ordering it several weeks in advance. This wouldn’t be an issue, but clearly I was mistaken.

The store is not over crowded with people, the staff are friendly and helpful. If you are there for a sale item you may be disappointed as they are frequently out of some sale items even on the first day of the sale

Nice grocery store with an awesome manager and nice staff... Except the Deli. There is an older lady there who continues to ignore me. When she does acknowledge me, she's short and to the point. When I have a problem ask her to correct it (like when she sold me the wrong chicken or I bought a rotten pizza) it's like pulling teeth to make her swap out or fix her mistake. last time I went I even had a manager say "yeah shouldn't be a problem" but when I went to the deli she wouldn't give me a new piece of chicken she got wrong from my order. She then suggested I buy more chicken to make up for her mistake.She's nice to everyone else when I'm in line there, but when it comes to me she won't give an inch. I've been nothing but nice and respectful to her but I get nothing back. Heck maybe she's a bit racist and is helping me when she's given no choice but to.This point I just don't buy anything fresh from the deli if she's there. If she doesn't want to serve POC then she needs get over it.

Arrived to the parking lot to once again find car campers loitering and taking up the shaded parking spaces. 2nd time this week I complained to SW management about transients in the parking lot. The worst part of today's shopping visit was at check out. As I got to the front for checkout, there were two lanes, and one of the checkers was told to close so she could get her lunch. Meantime the line behind me grew and eventually a couple of those customers were directed to the self-check out where they were checked by the line overseer. Meantime the customer in front of me had two very large orders as I waited patiently for my turn with my ice-cream defrosting. Near the customer service desk there were three employees hanging around, who could have assisted the checker with bagging. The checker assisted the customer with his bagging and then I finally got to the register. I loudly expressed my frustration seeing how busy one checker was while two other checkers were doing nothing.Sensing my frustration they sent over a bagger to help my checker and me bag my groceries which was also another large order. I thought that the line overseer was suppose to keep an eye out for managing all of checkout.... She clearly knew I had a large order. Why didn't she employ one of the loafers to replace the checker who went to lunch?

Most annoying thing about this place, self check out announces to everyone the amount you spend on each product and your total. In my opinion, how much I choose to spend is no one's business but mine.Next, meat selection sucks. Minimal and doesn't look great.Lastly, Safeway is one of the most expensive grocery places in town and yet it is definitely the most run down place.I came for one product only. And I still hated going there even for that.

I took a car charger in to return because it was defective. I was helped by Lucy, who stated she is a store manager. I purchased this charger at another store. Lucy said I would have to go back to the store I purchased it because it would mess up her inventory. I explained I bought it at Safeway and asked he again to return it. She declined. I explained that I would call he corporate office and discuss the return with them. She then said she would do it this one time for me. She acted mad and threw a mini tantrum while she completed the return. This is a store I shop at a lot. Maybe it's time to start shopping at King Soopers.

All the good sales.One thing that I didn't like.Was the two men that was stocking the dairy products.I said good morning, and the just looked at me.The way I felt was what is this Spanish person doing in our store.They had no customer service skills.Or maybe they need to learn that we are all the same kind of person.Just different skin color.

Worst store in Brighton. Any other option in town is better. Staff is unfriendly, store is dirty and often under stocked, and the prices are on par with the nearby Natural Grocers without the quality. The apparent hours of operation are just an estimate. I was greeted today by one of their long term employees, possibly the front end supervisor, who is always unpleasant. She was happily smoking her cigarette in front of the entrance and proclaimed, “we’re closed” with no explanation. This was nearly two hours after the store’s advertised opening time. She also gave me grief another time for daring to carry my full grocery basket outside of the store to my car.I used to go there for the donuts and 505 burritos, which are a nice treat on a weekend morning. Not anymore. I am done with this store. On a happier note, I went to the locally owned place that sells cinnamon rolls and breakfast pockets, and it was fantastic.

The parking lot definitely needs a lot of work big potholes everywhere but the staff at this location is absolutely amazing. So helpful with every question are looking for anything. The produce selection is a little lacking however what they have is great some of the best strawberries I’ve had in a long time. The pharmacy is incredibly helpful. All the people helping at the cashiers were also incredibly nice every single time I’ve gone in.

I had left my Pepsi zero on my cart outside while it’s snowing and someone from produce I believe his name was Armando I was told by the manager went out in the snow and brought back in my Pepsi… thanks man! Appreciate it
