Manager Nyki is always welcoming and happy. She's a great way to start your dull work day. The people at the 7-11 across the street are just as unhappy to be up in the morning as you are so I'll keep coming to this Alta instead.

Under new management, the store is starting to improve. Manager is great always cheerful works. She has herself a good team. Turnover is minimal since she took over.go check the place out, doors open at 6am, but she usually has it open sooner. She likes when there is a problem she is told so she can nip it in the butt as she says. One person is always late opening, slow and lazy. Monday thru Friday manager is open and of you are down you will leave smiling. She has a great personality.

This location is the worst. Supposed to open at 6 am. Numerous times I have arrived after posted opening hours only to find store closed. They have a high turn over in employees and reflects poorly on the company. I would suggest going elsewhere.

As a follow up to my original review, this company still has not made necessary changes, I’m surprised they haven’t been sued for bullying and or discrimination. Maybe I should dig deeper instead of relying on my personal first hand experience.

Employees should be excited to work at any location, but some locations in Canon City, CO have varying degrees of inexperience from nervous to just a lack of concern for customers because they may be overwhelmed or tired. None of the Exxons have staff that promote the Rewards+, it seems more like an afterthought. Stores are full of merchandise but still running out of many important things.
